We stayed at 3 different small inns in Eugene and I slept best in Excelsior Inn. The bed and room (Puccini) were so comfortable. We loved landscape design. The art on the corridor walls, of which much was to sell, was a nice touch. The coffee at breakfast was the best of our trip. Everything was impeccable. If you're looking for a European refinement, that's all.

I will definitely visit again and hopefully longer. The staff is excellent, boutique quality accomodations, location perfect for walking to restaurants or just walking around campus. The Inn's interior is full of beautiful art (many of it for sale! And the whole place is like stepping back in time or into another country in a good way. Btw, parking is on site, only one block away I added 3 photos from the parking garage.
