"Emily 's is our go to place for family breakfast after our two teenage boys finally join the living on the weekends. This is one restaurant that can always satisfy their seemingly insatiable appetites for carbs and proteins. They struggle to finish pancakes, the breakfast scrambler melt, or any of the omelettes that are on the menu, which is testament to the quality and portions of the food. We usually leave with a doggy bag on most visits. The menu has changed slightly over the years (I 've been a patron for more than a decade), but the quality and consistency has remained above average. The sign of a good diner is usually a wait at the door on the weekends, and Emily 's is no exception. The staff work hard to turn tables as quickly as possible, but don 't be surprised if you have to wait near the door for 10 15 minutes during peak times. The staff are usually very friendly, attentive, and accommodating, some of the wait staff have been working there for many years, and some are relatively new, but all know the menu and are helpful when guests have questions about allergies or how food is prepared. My father in law is so enamored with Emily 's that he insists we go here at least once (if not more) whenever he visits. They recently started accepting credit cards, and they do offer take out (usually 15 25 minutes from call to pick up). The diner is very 'kid friendly ' with coloring books and crayons available, booster seats, enough room between tables to fit a car seat and toys on the floor etc. Stay for Ice Cream if you are here in the summer, those portions are similar to the breakfast menu, and who doesn 't want a little extra ice cream?"

"I had been wanting to try this place for a bit, but it seemed like every time I thought about stopping by for a smoothie they were closed. They are open plenty, just bad luck on my end. Today I had to make a post office run though and swung by here on my way home so I finally got to try some smoothies. They have a good size parking lot and ample signage which makes it easy to find. And I do appreciate that they are making fresh, healthy food. My first impression when I walked in today though was that neither of the two employees was wearing a mask. This despite the county and state mask mandates and today Erie county set a new covid record, just below TWENTY ! I love fresh healthy food but you know what I like even more than that? Not catching covid when I go to get it. Please wear your masks. Despite the lack of masks, I still ordered my smoothies. I ordered a Berry Blast and a Tropical one. They were both made fresh and brought out to me in a timely fashion, I don't think they took more than 5 minutes to make. That was appreciated given the lack of masks. I took my smoothies to-go. I paid cash for them but I did notice they say they take all the major credit cards. The Berry Blast one tasted okay on the upswing but the aftertaste was very bitter. I had my husband try it without giving him any input and he said the same thing, asked why it had such a bitter finish? I make berry smoothies all the time at home so I would not get this one again. The tropical one was good though. It was sweet all the way through, no bitter aftertaste. It did have a grainy texture I couldn't place based on the ingredients but it was sweet and pleasant. I will probably try this place again but hopefully they will take covid seriously and wear masks in the future during the mandates."
