"I just had my 5th stay at the Asa Ransom House in Clarence, NY. The historic inn was built in 1799. It is now under new ownership/management as the previous owner retired and sold the inn. It is in good hands. The present owner is also a chef. Our breakfasts were delicious and nutritious both days, and served in a timely manner in a lovely dining room. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet despite facing the street. It had a lovely front porch, and was conveniently located near the electric vehicle charging station (a bonus! . Almost everything was better than expected...our room, the the parlor, and especially the proprietor who is also a chef that prepared a perfect breakfast every morning. Quite a welcome change compared to staying at a brand hotel near the interstate. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

So, have a gift certificate and we couldn’t use it during Covid their restaurant was closed also for a long while. I called a bunch of times to see if we could use it and couldn’t. Then, we ended up putting it aside you lose track of it. Now they won’t honor the gift certificate because it’s a bit over the 5 years and the guy who answered was a pompous jerk. I’ll never go to this place, EVER! Service: 1

"$2.22 for a large coffee. Decided to stop in this morning for some coffee. Overall, place was extremely clean, but no customers at 07:45am. Large coffee seemed to be about 16oz. No XL size. Price comparison gives XL for 1.99 at timmy ho's, same size for 1.92 at spot coffee via Dash's. Coffee was very good. I would rate it definitely above timmy ho's. I am die hard into what spot coffee does......i like my coffee black. Traffic was a bit backed up going back down main street to thompson...mainly due to timmy ho's traffic. For the extra price, I don't mind supporting a local business. It was nice to go in, get my coffee (no drive thru traffic) and get out. I hear the food here is phenomenal. Can't wait to try this week."

"We have a memorial gathering to celebrate my mother's life in a private room at the Hollow Bistro and we are so happy we had our event there! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive (a difficult balance to strike). All the staff were very professional and easy to work with. I especially appreciated the event coordinator who sent many emails back and forth with me and was very kind, courteous, prompt in all her communication with me prior to the event. We will definitely consider this place for future family gatherings. I highly recommend this restaurant for private events! Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu for the little ones! Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for my family members with limited mobility through a side door that led directly into the event space. "My club sandwich was a grilled panini they obviously don’t know the difference,my friend had pizza logs that were over cooked ! Don’t think we will ever go there again! "One night with the girls can't end until you have dessert, right? Murphy Brown was for us. I was the first of the 4 of us to come, so I have a 4 top menu. We moved from the table through the door to the cozy corner table, where my friend enjoyed wing diving 2 tasty excavators. I had a double whammy of Guiness a pint plus cake. The place was around 730 hoppin' or so and seemed to be stable to the close."
