"We really wanted to like Asian Pop but our visit did not allow us to unfortunately. I love supporting family-run restaurants but this one fell short. A child sat us at our table which we thought was very cute. The booths were beat up as well as the walls and ceiling. It took a server 5-10 minutes to greet us and take our drink orders. There were several things on the menu that sounded good though so we were still optimistic. I got a chicken bento box, my wife got some sushi and our daughter had lo mein. The sushi honestly wasnt good, my bento box was just ok (on par with a substandard chinese buffet), and my 6 y/o wouldnt eat her lo mein (she usually like lo mein). It's not cheap to eat out...

Pretty good pricing and tasted good as well. The sushi was 6$and the boba was $4! Hard to find prices like that anywhere else

First time here. The soup and salads was very good. The apple soft shell crab was excellent. The sushi was great and tasty. The coconut shrimp bento box was loaded. Our server was outstanding. The place however needs a little spring cleaning. From the main road looks like the place is closed. Park around back.

Being convenient to the movie theater I was at, not having been there in quite awhile, still being lunch time menu by minutes I decided to go and rediscover an old favorite. I was one of the only people in there, so the service was excellent! Ordered the shrimp tempura bento box, dumplings, spring rolls, shrimp, assorted yummy veggies and of course shrimp. The surprise was the desert ... a Japanese donut roll ? loaded with cinnamon surgery! There wasn't a thing on the plate that wasn't delicious. So much food I took some of the tempura and rice home. Going back soon for rolls!

"We were just passing through town and I googled best lunch restaurants near me This place popped up and I'm glad I read the reviews about not being scared away by it being in a gas station. It's true there's no where to sit (as posted in other reviews) we just opened the back of the truck and sat under a shady spot in the parking lot. The food was really good. "I wanted to treat my mother, my grandmother's sister for a special dinner to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday. I had some dig online to find some nice restaurants and came across Katya. Words can not describe how amazing my experience was to discuss my first call to them my reservation, the whole way to say goodbye on our way. Katya, her sweet parents The boss has completely exceeded our expectations. Kathryn helped me, our dinner with a beautiful handwritten birthday card, sparkles at the table, and a delicious bottle of wine and cheese board awaits us at our table. I am always grateful to her and her family for making so much effort to feel my mother so special. We will definitely be back for more! Thank you very much! If you? "CONS: We were pretty excited to try this place out...what a let down. We felt like maybe our waitress didn't want us as a table? She hardly came to us, and left us for long stretches. After we ordered, we heard the table next to us(a different waitress) get offered a special appetizer. We would have loved to order that. AND they were offered Swordfish and a duck special, that we would have also ordered if we had known about it. Plus, she asked us if we wanted her to bring more bread, and we said sure. She never came back again until we received our dinners, with no bread. She left us for so long between stretches, that I gave her my credit card before any mention of the bill, because we didn't want to have to wait for fifteen minutes for her to bring the bill to the table. It was still quit a long wait. PROS: What we ordered was pretty good. My husband got the short ribs, which were a little fatty, but tasted very good. I ordered the Sorrentino veal, which tasted great. The food itself was not the problem."

"*Updated Rating8/7/2022* My husband and I have been coming for a long time since my first review(2018) and I feel like it's time for an update. I am still in this place as a restaurant and it was one of the few places that remained consistent even after the pandemic. We come for both brunch / dinner a few times a year and have either Charles or David for our servers and both make sure there is a special visit every time. This weekend was amazing with both servers because I celebrated my birthday (the only place I wanted to eat in Ocala) and at both visits our servers were very courteous and made every experience instant. The food is always excellent and consistently delicious so I try to come here at least a few times a year to celebrate milestones. I highly recommend that you come here also outside Google reviews to anyone who asks. There's something smart for every taste. I always try a new dish every visit and still have to be disappointed. This is the best secret in Ocala. *Review of 2018* Came to brunch last Sunday and had a great time. I loved the decor and the music they played was great. For something raised for the Ocala area it was a surprisingly relaxed feeling for brunch (dinner might be different). I had a cappuccino, Eggs Meurette but I replaced the potatoes for a side salad. While the salad was great, I saw the potatoes at the table next to us and they looked amazing. I'm not sorry to get her, but my salad was great and I'm not sorry to get it. I'm definitely back to see how the dinner menu is."
