Beyond the authentic, extremely polite and impeccable family business! The only gluten-free roasted chicken we had and we live in NYC. We did not find a restaurant that dares to make really gluten-free roasted chicken. The owner does not try to make trendy hipster food. The owner makes it for a family member who is really gluten-free! The food is fantastic and addictive! I had the maize bread for breakfast! All sides were also delicious! The portions are generous, we have it back for dinner! The restaurant and staff are really a breath of fresh air in Asbury Park, formerly a ghost town and is now a scene. There is no scene here just great food and friendly people!

A great gluten free option! I was excited to try this restaurant because I am gluten free and cannot even remember the last time I had fried chicken. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of their gluten free food. My family tried both my food and the regular food and could not find a difference in taste. I had fried calmari and fried chicken and it was absolutely delicious. I was also fortunate enough to visit a day that they had gluten free corn bread and macaroni and cheese. We found out that most days if you want these options you just need to call a few hours ahead of your reservation and they will make them for you. I definitely recommend this restaurant even if you are not gluten...
