"People who run it (Mike specifically) are fantastic. I’ve been getting the breakfast skillet for years and it’s the best breakfast I’ve personally had. I’ve sent many people to the Bleu Squid with great reviews. Not sure what’s happening but since the summer it’s been extremely downhill. Constantly changing the menu, the brunch menu on weekends completely dismissed the breakfast skillet. Long wait times for carry out, even being refused to take an order. Hopefully they figure it out and keep the skillet on the menu! It’s the best thing you guys have."

I recommend this place to anyone in the area of Mystic CT. The waitress we had , Sarah was so accommodating and sweet. My aunt is vegan and requested a special dish. The cook Danielle came out and made sure of how she wanted it and even added more to it, to make it more enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond. Such a great experience. Friendly, clean, upbeat, accommodating to special needs 10/10

enjoy a nice breakfast here two days in a row while visiting mystic! we were both there in the morning, so it wasn't busy. service was good and eating was excellent! loved the Bacon know-howet, fresh top plate, sandwiches and pancakes. sweet potato hasch was not my taste preference (heavy pfeffer overlaid the sweet,) but could appeal to others. nice sitting area in the free and comfortable location in the old mistick village!

from beginning to end of an amazing experience. the waitress “Sarah” was incredibly friendly and thoughtful and “Danielle” our cook again amazing! the food was delicious, service impeccable. my mother is on a very limited diet and they took the time to find out a meal for her and she was overwhelmed with the time and ease they took. many thanks again for such a great experience. the bleu squid is highly recommended by this family
