"Lovely service, great food! We stayed at Tides Inn for our anniversary weekend and restaurant is part of the Inn. Definitely make reservations in advance! Excellent fried oysters appetizer, nice plump oysters in light batter. We got complimentary champagne for our anniversary and also their bread rolls and butter were warm, crusty and a bit sweet Tried seared scallops with creamed corn scallops were delicious!Also had filet that was cooked to perfection!Everybody was so nice and eager to please!If you're there celebrating at the end of dinner your waiter gives you a locker key and on your way out you open corresponding locker that are located next to the bar and you'll find small box of tas...

Extremely over priced establishment. I have dined at many fine dinning venues and this establishments doe not come close to average. Ordered Duck that was present with 2 slivers and it was called main entree. Wife ordered crab that drenched in a tomato ketchup base. spent for tiny little portions that lacked any flavor.

We definitely enjoyed ourselves... This is an annual tradition for us to have dinner following the wine festival, and we always look forward to our quiet dinner. The view of the water is beautiful and peaceful. The service is very pleasant. The staff is always super attentive, and the food is prepared fresh. We love every detail of the experience.

Our server was overwhelmed, shorthanded. She had at least eight tables. A table of six were extremely loud, which ruined the ambience for most of the other tables in the room. Food was good, but with all of the hype of the Tides Inn, we expected much more. We were told that the Chesapeake restaurant would be closed for renovation until next spring. That may be what's needed. It is certainly beautiful scenery, and sunsets. But I don't want to pay for just location.

"Girl ... when I tell you these rice balls are absolutely amazing! Keep in mind theres a slight kick to the small Yaya Shrimp (S) RB, but its not bad at all. Rather pleasant and really dont do spice. "When my duaghter suggested this place for Columbian food my first thought was there are so many Columbian resturants closer to me, but I saw the high rating and number of reviews and tried it. I am so glad we did. It is not overrated, but a true gem that we will come back to. We started with mini empanadas...so good especially with the hot suace. They also gave us a plate of thinly sliced plantains chips with a herbed mayo. Both were excellant. Dinner did not disappiont. We ordered their country sampler platter(Band Paisa)...it was huge. Pork Hawaiian style and the chicken with mushrooms. For sides we had the potatoes(my favorite and Highly recommend), green plantain, beans and a salad. Our group had a (fresa) blackberry s with milk drink that was very tasty and a Salpicon which was full of fruit and gave us a snack for later. We of course packed up half of our meals for another day and saved room for desert....highly recommend you do the same. We shared Flan and a guava pastry. Then bought more for breakfast the next day. It was worth it. The service was spot on even asking for water and some limes, and we never lacked anything we needed."

"Very Rude Manager! Run! What happened to this place? Bad customer service. Pictures included #GoogleLocalGuide? #Shrimptaco? No. Hello people, I use love, love, love? I have eaten this place often in the past. I eat outdoors today, I decided to get out. It was about a year or more since I was here. I came on the back in the outside area and was immediately stopped. I was asked if I looked in or pulled out. I was redirected to go and go through the front. No problem? I put my order and asked to use the toilet room. The young lady raised the necklace and when I left, this very rude man 3x my size, goes and stands before me and said: "Excuse Me! Where are you going????? UNACCEPTABLE to talk to a customer in this way! I said to the bathroom! His answer was that you shouldn't come here. I said I can't use the bathroom! The manager said you were back! I asked him how should I come to the bathroom? He said you were using the BACK Entrance! How do you know when I went to the back door, I was told I had to pierce the FRONT entry!???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I could give you a ZERO. $5 for three overcooked, dried, over salted shrimps with Globs sauce to hide these shrimps. Everything was cold. Shame on you?????? I'm finished with #MitiMiti"

"The other reviews didn't lead me wrong. It's a small place, but good for the takeover. I ordered the American Dream and Lobster Tempura Roll. Loved the sweet Aal sauce and enjoyed the Lobster reel most. The spicy sauce on the American dream turned over the role and drank the crab taste. But it was still delicious. The only complaint is the carpet. It has this old carpet smell and has to be changed. That alone could keep me from it. My rating is just for the food. Could have been higher if it wasn't for bad presentation for the storage front and roles."
