"The food is good! The bakery goods are amazing as well. The service is terrible though. Very slow and the waitresses do NOT check on you regularly. I asked for ketchup and watched the waitress chat with the other waitresses for 10 minutes before getting me the ketchup. My food got cold waiting for her! She didn't even help other customers, she was just not doing her job. I love the croque madam sandwich but the poor service will prevent me from returning. I have given this restaurant several chances, but the service is always the same or worse."

First time coming and it was delicious! Met up with some friends and arrived late but the waitress got me taken care of quickly. Loved the pastry/dessert selection.

Great food! Delicious looking pastries, I can’t wait to try them! Soledad was my waitress and she was awesome! She has amazing customer service and made my experience 5 stars! I got the caprese panini and it was delicious!

The food is excellent! I've tried several menu items and every time I have said This is the best......I've ever eaten The service has also been exceptional. It is a little loud when it's busy so difficult for conversation. It didn't matter once the food arrived at the table. We were too busy eating.

"EDIT Thank you so much to our kind waitress for giving us a juice menu and a juice on the house! Our waiter before had not given us a juice menu and when we asked for juice he had told us publik does not serve juice. Glad to know that they do! The mint limeade is to die for! I love Publik! Their BLT and avocado toast is the best! The banana toast is really good too. the only downside is that they don’t serve basic breakfast juices like apple and orange. What is that about lol."

"I speak as a tourist. I was delighted this place has dedicated, on-the-menu options – as it is apparently open late, it would seem to be worth keeping in mind for that reason. This, and the empanada's great value, lead me to give it three stars. That said, there were some oddities. I got the vegan arepa and the vegan empanada. They were both filled with *exactly the same ingredients* and the empanada was bigger than the arepa – but the arepa costs more than 2x as much. Given these circumstances, and the fact that I liked the empanada more, I can see the empanada being a great deal for a vegan looking late night or for a bit of variety. Both of them were on the bland side, however, and far from imaginative. I did enjoy the plantains in both; otherwise, it was mainly black beans and some avocado. (From the menu, it appears that their several vegan items seem mainly to be rearranging these same ingredients. The small amount of chimichurri I was given added some flavor and was ok, but did not knock my socks off. None of it was bad, and I do think they made at least the arepa fresh with decent ingredients, but there just wasn't much flavor. Finally, they use big styrofoam packaging for to-go, which is actually enough to mean I would avoid eating here again. (Not being a local, I don't know how common this is, but I know it's not even nominally recyclable in SLC and that not all places do it. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-05"

"There are about a million awesome options here for your poke bowl. You can make the most wild combinations and they always come through on even the oddest personal preferences. It is always fresh and delicious and catering to silly people like me that have perhaps odd taste!On top of that, you get A LOT for very little. I'm gonna go keep eating my crab, mango, cream cheese, spring mix, and three types of fish and about a billion other things.LOVE to Hanaya"

"Love the Breakfast Burrito and I order here often. Posting a review because door dash/even stevens yall need to update your app listings to include avocado as an option for the burrito again. I have ordered a dozen times through the app, and now it appears the option has been completely removed mysteriously. The option still remains on the website, but not here in doordash which is inconvenient. Please update, thank you!"

"Amazing! I would definitely recommend for: food quality, service from staff, cleanliness, and more! The shop is small but well organized and clean. The staff were happy to answer any questions. And the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered 4 menu items and one of their shaved ice. It was all delicious. I accidentally didn’t mention one of our guests had a nut allergy and they apologized (even though they didn’t have to) and remain our items quickly."
