"First time visitors to the lovely Friends Lake Inn, Feb 27th to March 4th. We had to postpone our original reservation (late Oct) due to a Nor'easter, then had to postpone again (mid Dec) due to the Omicron variant. I rescheduled for June, but feeling the need to escape sooner, moved the reservation up to late Feb. Our stay could not have been any better. The Inn is both cozy and classic. We were able to snowshoe right out our door and were the only 2 people out on the trails for our entire stay. It has been a long time since we experienced complete silence. Wonderful accommodations and great staff. We had a very relaxing stay. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the Caesar salad and pancakes for breakfast. The bed sheets were an experience on their own, very soft and comfortable to sleep in. We are looking forward to visiting for longer and taking advantage of some of the activities in the area.

We had the most incredible dining experience in one of the most beautiful places in the Adirondacks! The food and service were impeccable. Every course was absolutely delicious! The staff, at every level, are attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. A special shout-out to our server, Rebecca! Thank you to everyone at Friends Lake Inn for giving us a night to remember!

We stayed at Friends Lake Inn the day after Christmas the room was comfy cozy, the dining experience was divine. We explored the area and found some nearby restaurant and pubs that were also great. The next morning we woke up early, before the restaurant opened for breakfast and a very friendly staff member saw us and sat us anyways! He was very friendly and gave us some great tips on where to go for the day. The breakfast was delicious. We will be back!

"The food was awesome, and there was no skimping on the portions. Nice, quiet Itialian atmosphere. You order your food and then decide where you want to sit, booth or table. When you are done, you take your dishes, scrape off what you didn't want, and put your trash trash to the containers provided. Nice place."

"The fish sandwich hot delicious bread fresh and nicely put together but I would appreciate if you're going to advertise for ice cream your ice cream machine should work and this is at your Chestertown Maryland store on Washington Avenue I have had friends tell me that they have gone for ice cream and that it has been very very loose sometimes your employees are so annoyed with the customers by not having the machine fixed causes issues and as customers we know that your employees have nothing to do with fixing the machines so let's get those machines fixed at our Chestertown stores thank you so much"
