Everyone there far exceeded out expectations from the moment we taste tested the food to the end when we were packing up to leave. "I've been going here for almost 20 years, and the consistency of their quality is unmatched. It's why I keep driving back to see them. Their portions, flavor, and price are amazing. I've not had anything on their menu I didn't like. Mandarin chicken is definitely among the top in the GNO area. The honey chicken is sweet and crisp. Their rice and lo mein are packed with vegetables and protein. The service is quick and warm. I hope Bamboo Garden stays open for at least another 20 years, because I'm sure I'll see them then, too."

"My parents hyped this restaurant up for a week. They raved about the food for a week. It was the most unsatisfying meal I have had in New Orleans. How can you screw up BBQ shrimp? My son was served raw chicken with a bonus side of a claw. My daughter 's burger was charred. My dad 's ribs were over cooked and my mom was served rice with no etouffee. My nephews chicken was rubbery and he could not cut through it. I beg anyone to save your money. This meal was well over $300 and so not worth it. I could have gone to Commander 's Palace for the price of this disgusting meal. Plus it was hot in the private room. Fire your 3rd chef and get someone in there that knows how to cook. Also the bottle of wine that we drank is a $14 not $45. Outrageous mark up"

"Made a reservation more than a week in advance for this pla e. Get there and hostess tries to sit us at the bar and not not at a table when there were more than 50% of tables open. The service was slow..very slow. Waitress spilled a glass of water on our table and she casually wiped it off with her hand onto the floor. The masa for the tamales was dry. The crab cake was decent. After we had been eating for about 20 minutes, the hostess comes to the table and asks us again what name our reservation was under. The tmosphere here was awkward and the food was ok."

"Had the burger and onion rings and it was well with the stop on the way to Metairie for a wedding. My husband and I split the burger and rings. Thank goodness we did because the burger was pretty big. Friendly staff."
