"Had a 9:15 reservation and they put us upstairs. The waiter Paul indirectly insulted my friend from out of town telling her what she was accustom to. The food came out cold and it taste nothing like the halls downtown. My friend husband told them he doesn’t eat pork but they put pork in his collard greens and served it to him. The lobster macaroni was cold and Paul the waiter said they didn’t sell lamb chops it was rack of lamb but when I got it they must have knocked the lamb chops off the rack and served it to us. 1st time there and we went for our anniversary. Very nice staff and place. Food was really good. Well cooked and seasoned.

Had a decent experience last night at Halls, food and service were top notch. I had the 6oz Filet and my wife the Pork Chops both were prepared perfectly. We added the creamy pepper corn side, as well as the Tuna Tartar appetizer, all in all very tasty. Where Halls falls short is noise level. From the louder than necessary music to the general conversation levels, I found it disruptive when one thinks of a fine dining experience. All in all the overall feel is super classy, with very nice furnishings. Our experience only falls short on the noise level. "Went here for dinner. The hostess and server were friendly. The cleanliness was a little bit below average. The food proportions were small for what you pay. My wife ordered garlic bread for an appetizer. When it was brought out the runner dumped part of it on our table. She did apologize but that was all she did. No offer to bring out a new one or replace it. The entire garlic bread appetizer was also only two tiny pieces of flat bread. My wife ordered meatloaf and said it was average compared to other places. I ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo. The chicken was well seasoned but the sauce was kind of bland. The small flavor that the sauce did have was over powered by the broccoli. Plus, $18.50 for a serving amount that I could fit in a small cereal bowl is crazy."

"amaziiing! that was the first time I and my bf were here and we were impressed! hostess and other staff were great; our server mikayla is top notch. really. She's amazing. very knowledgeable, so friendly and regularly checked for us. I am so grateful that she makes this an unforgettable experience and let me tell you. we ordered a lot. eating came to the perfect times and everything done very efficiently. spinat artichoke dip was fired! sweet tee was perfect and refilled on deck. french wobbles, mac n cheese, kartoffel kartoffels – all phenomenal! my pal has garnel and grummed and loved her. I have the veggie primavera and it was soou delish. local beer on hahn. yummy list of cocktails! and the prices were just right for the amazing quality and romantic environment. we want again lol! very recommended! thank you!"

"20 Oz Kansas city strip, cooked great and dry aged flavor was really good. Server said it was 68-72 days dry aged. It was pricey, but for that much dry aging and 20oz, price is on par for this type of steakhouse. Beet salad was good, but seemed to be missing something to give it that little extra flavor (maybe some more crumbled cheese? . Honey for the beets was a nice touch as were the candied nuts and mandarin orange pieces. Visually, it looked really nice with the different colored beets. She crab soup was a bit thinner than I'm used to, but had a good taste and a few solid chunks of crab meat. I can't say whether or not it's always on the thinner side or not. We were celebrating a birthday and waiter brought a really nice sized piece of chocolate layer cake (on the house . Nice ambiance, Would definitely go again."

"While staying in Summerville, I discovered this charming little restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we knew we would enjoy our experience. The atmosphere was very rustic and cozy. The staff mentioned that the food was homemade with love, and it certainly tasted that way. I ordered the fried duck with ruffles and peas, while my friend opted for the fried oysters. The beer was perfectly cold and refreshing. We will definitely be returning, as we were impressed with the hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience."
