"I don't care about the service or atmosphere... I wanted a to go order from the buffet. All the food was terrible all forms of fried chick are overcooked or cooked at too high of a temperature. (If you've ever used a frier to cook, you'd know after your first bite from here. The lo mein seemed very old, several hours (which I'd still eat except it was smothered in cooking oil or Grease on top of being cold. The beef broccoli was also smoothered in cooking oil, if you put the beef broccoli in a to-go container you can see the thick combination of oil and condensation from steamed broccoli in the bottom because the oil obviously wont mix. I'm not even some good chef, I've just worked fast foo...

This is the absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever been to I really hope I don’t get sick after trying the little bit of food I’ve tried to the point I was scared to even try the ice cream I’m sorry but it’s the truth I’ve never even made a review before but this is crazy y’all need to do better I rather eat out the garbage and to be clear I went for lunch but I can’t imagine dinner being any better

Excellent food, great prices and excellent food selections. Friendly and attentive staff. I can't say enough about how good All of the food selections were. Two of us dined in at about 3 pm Friday. Plenty of parking spaces. The whole time we were there staff was bringing out fresh dishes. Recommend the peanut butter chicken, cream cheese wonton, teriyaki sticks, egg fou young with gravy, pepper chicken, sweet and sour sauce, cheese filled mushrooms, spicy soup and the honey shrimp. "We dined at Travail and tried their full tasting menu, which included the cellar bar and the upper floor restaurant. We opted for a cocktail pairing as well as a non-alcoholic pairing to accompany our meal. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with non-alcoholic cocktails before being seated downstairs. Our favorite part of the experience was the cellar bar, and we would definitely return for that alone. The menu, including the drinks, was inventive and unexpected, with presentations that were almost overwhelming in a playful way. We enjoyed dishes such as chorizo and octopus tacos, mussel soup, foie gras reminiscent of lime sherbet, and Korean corn dogs, among others. Everything was delicious, making it difficult for us to choose favorites. Travail did an excellent job of making the non-alcoholic drinks just as fun and interesting as the regular cocktails. The menu upstairs featured more traditional gourmet fare, with the vegetables standing out against the meat dishes. While the steak was a bit too salty on the night we visited, it was otherwise perfectly cooked. Our favorite dish was the pig belly served with carrots in a pea soup. The beverage pairings on the upper floor were quite extensive, but we particularly enjoyed a mango carrot juice served in a cup shaped like a flower pot, which was both sweet and delicious. The desserts were equally outstanding, and we struggled to pick a favorite. Overall, the price tag is more reflective of the experience rather than just the food itself, making it well worth it. The service was a bit unclear in terms of payment structure, but we left a tip and cash under a glass. Despite this small issue, we had an exceptional experience and would definitely return to Travail."

"Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with a group of 6. Dining room was pretty busy and we had a short wait for a table. I understand the difficulty with hiring and keeping reliable staff, so we were patient. The server took our order for drinks and then came back for our food order. The food almost beat our drink order to the table. Based on the quality and quantity of food, it more than made up for the slower drink orders. 2 people ordered grits and said they were the best they have ever had. The Miltons wings were nice and hot and crispy. The french dip was huge and delicious. The brisket sandwich had so much brisket in it that it became an open face sandwich. The jerk chicken mac and cheese never disappoints. Exceptional food. Hope you have luck finding more staff. We will return again."

"well, it helped me to have a very buff man dinner. but in addition, we shared the escapes of the roared walleye and the baked hen, as a spade as a kartoffel bree. I have to say that huh was amazing. very delicate and moist. I'd come back for it alone. service was perfect and with open table was great for our reservation."

"Placed saved father's day! It is open later than other breakfast places and I have always meaning to give them an attempt, but never came to this day. Super clean tables and counters. Warm friendly staff and very professional. I ordered the 2 cakes, bacon and left breakfast. The eggs were perfect (basted medium)! They were not casual, but still soft. The cakes were smaller than what I used, but the taste was very good. The bacon and sausage compounds were also fantastic. Good price and fast service!"
