"We celebrated our wedding anniversary last night with a delicious meal at J. C. holdway’s. It was our dirst visit. This beautiful restaurant have a very inique menu and lovely atmosphere. We ate on the patio. Everything we are was simply scrumptious. My favorite was the desert. Who would ever imagine that frozen moose covered with preserved peaches and Carmel corn would go together. It is a “must havr” for my next visit."

What a fabulous evening! We had the uncles platter, steak for two and flourless chocolate cake! Everything was amazing! Since I am gluten free, I asked if they had anything for the uncles platter instead of bread and the chef made me some of the most incredible cracklings! Service and food is top notch!

Walked in for our dinner reservation and fleet foxes White winter hymnal was playing...my wife and I were immediately pleased. Top notch food from the best chef in the business, excellent friendly service and care from staff. We can't wait to return, this place is a culinary, auditory, and visual delight!

We had a wonderful meal here. Great staff, great food, great time. We didn't have a huge appetite so we ordered light. I had the ribs appetizer and the Bibb salad. Micki Ann had the slow cooked egg/gnocchi/chicken dish. The cornbread was great as was the lemon tart for dessert. Our server was Maggie and she was great!!!

"I loved this place so much it actually made me emotional. Besides the EXCELLENT atmosphere (no decorations have ever been more on point) and the kindest staff ever, the coffee was AWESOME and why?? did the bagel dragged through the garden taste so good???? Seriously, what was on that. It was hard not to simply inhale it. Please give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Also: so many comfortable and different places to sit. "AMAZING! So good! We ate there yesterday based on reviews alone. We are traveling from Michigan on our way to Pigeon Forge and stopped for lunch. Was not disappointed. Everything was top notch. The service, the delightful owner Jackie, and the food we can't stop talking about. The area was a little run down and I heard them say they were relocating or getting a new building, I'm so happy for them. Do not let looks be deceiving because inside is a wonderful meal and absolutely beautiful people. If we were local we'd be back!"

"Restaurant was amazing. My wife and I went for our 5 year anniversary and I had some special requests for our table before we got there. Richard (the manager) was extremely helpful in helping me get these done and even went above and beyond by having a custom menu printed up for us that congratulated us on our 5 year anniversary. All of the staff was amazing. The food was even better. Highly recommend the ale steak and peanut butter pie."

"The steak I was served was incredibly bland, over boiled and had a minimal crust on it. When I sent him back, they still tried to charge me for the steak, and the manager was incredibly rude when I asked to take it off. I thought it was quite common to take an article in this scenario. When I tried to talk to the owner about the situation, he called me a child to not understand “Margins” although he could not explain how they make me a second steak is better for them than me for the first steak. It was a terrible experience and I guarantee that they would have expected the same if they were in my shoes. They've hurt their feelings and kicked them out with a customer. Very unprofessional."
