"I have visited OAE for the past four years for my birthday. The only year that I did not go is when they went Mexican. The first year I went was phenomenal. I even got a recipe from the chef in exchange for a review. Last year was phenomenal. The choices were different but they still had an excellent prix fixe menu. Food was outstanding probably the best rack of lamb I ever had! Atmosphere nicer than expected. Only ding was that our server left us waiting a very long while to order since she was having an extended conversation at another table.

Many changes took place in Oak and Ember. It seems as the sections on the plates have decreased. They also changed the steak sauce menu and removed two of the best sauces! (Please bring back the blue cheese sauce!) The side of Mac and cheese that used to gooey and tasty lacked the main ingredient, cheese. We longed oak and ember as they have the best fillet around. But after all these recent changes, we will have a visit or two in the hope that they will improve something.
