"This is an awesome little place tucked into a very low key location! We made reservations for the hibachi table for 6, recommended but walk ins can also be seated at open tables, and were seated right away. Being a Sunday night, it was busy the entire time. Staff were terrific, from the moment we were seated we were taken care of with drinks, appetizers, main orders, refills, check ins, and entertainment. Daniel was our chef, he was upbeat, warm, funny, and very entertaining with the cooking and Shenanigans. Great quality of steaks, seafood, and chicken, all cooked to your preference and flavored beautifully -its a good portion of food too, if you have the will power to leave some they make...

Hibachi grills are fun and offer a bunch of different types of meat, but this one wasn't impressive. It was a lot more expensive than most meals, and literally all the meat was overcooked. I call trying to make a reservation and the guy said we should walk in even though he could make a reservation, I asked if it would get busy and he said no. He just sounded rude and lazy over the phone. We showed up to a packed house and when I explained the phone he just ignored me. "Great sandwich! With the declining quality and service of places like Firehouse Subs and Jersey Mike's, it's refreshing to find a place that just does a great job of making sandwiches and delivering great customer service like Board and Brew. Ordered the Italian Sub and all I can say it WOW! Not only does it have quality meats and ingredients, it's also served with a secret sauce (on the side). This sauce really made the already tasty sandwich even better. PS, thesandwich is huge! The staff was friendly and fast. I have a new favorite sandwich destination!! Thanks Board and Brew!"

"This location is so classic feels like a movie scene. They offer a ton of selections for ice cream, shakes, sundaes, or to other floats. I love that they actually make their own ice cream daily and fresh. I ordered a root beer float I'm addicted to the root beer floats at Hansel's. This location is very classic and unique. They have only outdoor seating, no public restrooms, and a private parking lot. The staff here are all so outgoing and welcoming. Keep in mind when you order to wait for it at the window and not walk away. They do their best to bring your order out the window as fast as they are able to. Overall a pleasant experience I loved visiting this location. Highly recommend a visit especially if you're into outdoor dining and ordering."

"updatei ordered walnut shrimp and wonton soupder walnuss shrimp and suppe was excellent. definitiw found our new Chinese restaurant. next we will try to find the moo go gai pan, supplies or sweet and acidic pork we have tried to find good Chinese food in clairemont, since panda country on clmt mese blvd closed due to kovid. we've been there for 30 years. Today we thought we were trying to rehab. we have kung pao san jan, not spicy and miraculous suppe for later. the taste was pretty good, but much too sweet for kung pao. the chicken and garnel were well cooked, but the bark was hard and chewing, not delicate at all, that we did not order Mongolian bark. that would have been a nightmare to chew. the amazed suppe was excellent and so were the crumbs that go with her. we give him an 8/10 compared to our original restaurant. try again before continuing our search"

"This is the best sub sandwich I’ve had. They are HUGE! They are not the normal “footlongs” they are not that long BUT they are 2-3 times WIDER than the normal “footlong”. The bread was amazing, the whole sandwich was amazing. My only minor complaint is that there was a bit of a wait, 10-15 minuets, for them to make the sandwich. I am not sure if they were really busy while I was there or this is a normal wait time, BUT the sandwich was worth the wait!"

"Went to Phil's BBQ after my Flag Football game in Santee. The time it took for me to order, sit at the bar to wait for my order, and order a drink, was just under 10 minutes. I had a half rack ribs with a small coleslaw, and a small fries. Food was very good and I was watching the March Madness Tournament while I ate. The drink was what you see on the jar in the photo. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The ribs fell off the bones! I had a small left hand injury and ate the ribs with one hand. I recommend!"
