"I don't know of another restaurant in the mid Coast like Paul's Steakhouse! It is in the clubhouse at the Boothbay Country Club, and very beautiful! The former restaurant was very nice and homey, and if that is what you are expecting, be prepared to be surprised! This is very elegant and charming someone playing a grand piano while you eat table side Ceasar Salad made from scratch (when was the last time you saw that), and a very good and reasonably priced. Also, they have a bar and grill attached (but separate) that also looks very nice with outdoor seating and a bit more informal. Check it out!"

I do not know a restaurant in the middle of the coast like paul’s steakhouse! it is in the clubhouse at boothbay country club and very beautiful! the former restaurant was very nice and secret, and if that is what they expect to be ready to be surprised! this is very elegant and charming someone playing a wing while they eat tableside ceasar salad from scratch (if the last time they saw that), and a very good and cheap. also they have attached a bar and grill (but separate), which also looks very nice with sitting outdoors and a bit more informal. Look at it!

"Best fish and Fry's in the state of Maine. The fish is fried very lightly which I really enjoy. Love the flavor of the fish and crispyness of the fries. They have to excellent sauces for the fish. Dill and tarter sauce. Both are great but the dill sauce is my personal favorite. Bet the owner of this restrant workers with her daughter to run the business. Bets sibling catch the fish fresh every morning and fry it that day. If your in Both Bay you must stop here. I assure you it will be an experience that you will never forget. Do be careful of the hours though. The restrant is only open for lunch from 11 to 2, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. She often sells out of fish before 2pm though because it's such a popular place so do be aware of that. Overall just an excellent place. Definitely will be returning."

"I'm from Texas and have never had a lobster roll in my life. I looked up this place because it was close to hotel. The people were so friendly and helpful and even though we could hardly understand each other due to me speaking Texan and them speaking Yankee, they seemed to have fun helping this Texan experience the Maine staple. I highly recommend it!"

"My (now) husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at The Patio at 1578. I couldn't have asked for a better rehearsal dinner. Everything was absolutely perfect. Mark and Kim worked with us to create a wonderful family-style Italian feast for our around 30 guests. We arrived around 5:30 and started off with delicious cocktails. We had 3 hors d'oeuvres (bruschetta, lamb chops, and arancini) which were all delectable and served on trays. The main course was a summer salad, bread, and three family-style dishes: tagliatelle bolognese, risotto milanese with shrimp, and fettuccini carbonara. For dessert we had a fruit preserve filled ice cream coated in chocolate. Mark and Kim were so accommodating to those with special dietary restrictions. It was the perfect menu for us, the perfect atmosphere, and the perfect evening. I can't wait to go back for more of their delicious food and excellent service! Thanks so much Mark Kim!
