"Sadly, this restaurant doesn 't even deserve one star, but Yelp requires me put at least one in order to write a review. We set reservations in order to ensure we had a table, showing up promptly at our reservation time. The young lad at the podium didn 't even greet us; I stood there waiting for him to say something before I finally told him we had reservations. His response was to look at his watch and proclaim, that 's not that time yet. So we patiently waited, only to witness a couple of women walk up, immediately receive a friendly greeting, and an escort to a table. First, be sure to have hotel manager call in your reservation so you actually get through! Once you are there, it is quiet and only about 6 tables per 1.5 hours. Small staff with open kitchen. Everything we tried was delicious: shrimp, steak, potatoes, asparagus, fried green tomatoes, salad, cheesecake, strawberry short cake...desserts change often and there is no menu, just ask what they have during your visit. Service acceptable. Will run one person about 30-50 bucks...but worth it.

This meal was a curious mix of good and bad. First it was impossible to secure a reservation. I left messages for 2 days on the voicemail and nobody ever returned my call. Luckily, we got there around 8pm on a Thursday so there was not a problem getting seated immediately. The hostess was so engrossed in her phone or book that we had to speak to her first to even get her to look up. Our server, Austin, was very attentive and did a great job.
