"WORST MEAL OF MY LIFE.As soon as we walked in, the host and entire staff looked unhappy, unfriendly, and had bad attitudes. Host was a rude man who was very dismissive of customers and their seating requests. No smiles. No customer service whatsoever. Once we were seated at the booth, we waited about half an hour before a server came to take our order. Servers were all over the place catering to different tables. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my boyfriend ordered whole wheat pancakes. We waited for another half hour... we asked our server(s) to check on our meal. They seemed confused. The few times we have gone to the diner, they stuck us in the back room near the bathrooms. My belief is it was because we had kids. The diner was not busy at all and they stuck us in a hot room near the bathroom. Also, upgrade the chef. The food is not so good.

The place is a absolute joke and should be shot down the food is greasy and nasty completely disrespectful servers and food is very greasy and undercooked! I will make sure to get the health department involved in investigating this place because of how nasty and dirty it is!! And also look at your other reviews that says it all!! What a joke

"A restaurant! Start with the free valet. A ?Happy Anniversary? greeting by the hostesses and waiter. Best Old Fashioned I?ve had in a long time, maybe ever. The waiter showed us all the different cuts of beef and the crab legs and lobster tail. Everysingle person greeted us with some form of hello/goodbye. Management stopped by our table to make an introduction and give ushis business card. Our entrees were perfect. It was my first experience at Gibson?s but I?ll certainly be back."

"Carmine's is a fantastic new restaurant in the Rosemont area that is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, with just the right amount of spices to please your palate. I had one of the best Italian sausage and pepper sandwiches of my life. If you're a seafood lover, you have to try their Linguini Pescatore. The dish is packed with juicy shrimp, calamari, and mussels, all cooked to perfection along with the linguine. Our server, Caitlin, added to our excellent experience at the restaurant. She was very helpful with menu recommendations and drink selections, attentive to our needs without being overbearing. We will definitely be returning to Carmine's not only for the amazing food, but also for the top-notch service. Thank you, Joel."

"I 've had the pleasure to dine at all three Gibson 's restaurants. Before last night, ALL three delivered.  Last night was no bueno : Service was slow and interrupted.  My 10 oz filet wasn’t cooked medium, it was rare. It had to go back to the kitchen for more fire. Two tables down from our table, a guest was in angry conversation w/others at his table.  No fun! For the high end price paid for our meal, it didn’t deliver the Gibson’s value, quality taste, and experience I’ve known from previous dinners at Gibson’s.   It missed the “wow factor”!"
