"I wanted to find a delicious sushi place here in Galveston, I had good experiences with some, but today my socks were banged. Yamato is officially my Galveston Sushi recommendation. I had a role of sushi that could not have been better, as well as steak and scallops. The steak was cooked to perfection, and very juicy, the scallops were so decadent, I can't think of a time I had so good scallops. My server was polite, and officiant it also made the recommendation for my sushi and wine I appreciated. The price was just right for the value. No complaints, you have to go."

has my wife brought to a birthday dinner today and it was amazing we order so much eat it was kind of funny, but we have eaten it all quick service and we were glad that we have kept up because it was busy. all employees were pleasant and attentive. we're safe back.

came without reservation, so had to wait about 40 minutes. finally sat and ordered 4 sushi rolls; took one, then they only brought half of our food. our third roll came after a long wait, and then they tried to tell us that we already rolled our fourth. we finally have our last roll after a good one. the only reason why they get two stars is that sushi was decent, even on the small side. it will be better to find another place for sushi or hibachi.

I just ordered their cold appetizers and they were the best I ate! The Jalapeño Pesto Snapper a season special was excellent. So many flavors with every bite. The fish was fresh and delicious. The spicy tuna tars were actually spicy Yams. The rice had a smokey taste. The Yuzu Lachs was simply in taste, but what a dish. Citrus seasoning, fresh salmon. Very happy with my appetizers. The lynx was also a joy! The hibachi show was also a success, but the stirring fry food was just ok, a little bland. The show is fun! Don't hesitate back!
