"I was hoping for a decent lunch and was very disappointed. I ordered 3 roll lunch special. Rice had no flavor nor any seasoning. Ginger pieces were brown, wasabi had no kick to it at all. Perhaps it was old. I was starving, so even if it was ok, I would have been eating it up. I was so disappointed to had to travel to get pick it up for it to be this bad."

"It wasn't even there. That was exactly what was needed for my party of 10. Service was excellent, the food was cooked, we are served well seasoned and quickly. I immediately pointed out that the staff was recognized by the 1 year old in our group and made sure that nothing was hot in its reach. "Visiting from Delaware I wanted to have dinner at a nice restaurant for my birthday being I was in town and so was my siblings. This restaurant was recommended and as a chef and critic I decided to try it Although the menu was a little pricey the portion size was worth it.. Food was good overall except the wait It was a special occassion for my birthday no recognition at all.. and we weren’t greeted until my brother mentioned we had a reservation.. I called in advance and was told they didn’t have a drink menu and was recommended to bring our own wine but Also there is a $30 corkage fee . Only to arrive and see they have a drink menu."

"Great food and service . (TY Brooke and Nieve) We went for my daughters girlfriends bday. I got the shrimp and mushroom risotto special it was delicious . My husband got the pork chop w spicy vinegar peppers -excellent ! The girls got limon chicken and drunken eggplant rolatini both great . Key lime pie and Choc chip cookie lava cake to end the night were amazing. Would def recommend and want to come back and try the pizzas which looked so good ."

"The ambience was AMAZING! During the pandemic social distancing was observed and the hospitality made us welcome and at home. Our food was delicious and the service was great! We dined on salads, fillet mignon, grilled shrimps, cut Sirloin, sawed broccoli, framed spinach and a baked potato all deliciously prepared and seasoned for perfection! Later we had desserts, consisting of the absolutely best vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate mousse with whipped cream that tasted as it was made in heaven. Will definitely return to Sparkill Steakhouse."
