"If you could only have one restaurant by which to remember a visit to Vienna, The White Chimneysweep is the perfect choice. The restaurant's name in German is Zum weißen Rauchfangkehrer, and even though its storybook decor may seem a bit touristy at first, this is a truly Austrian restaurant, with a loyal local clientele, and an energetic staff that provide extremely attentive service. Booked a table for our first evening in Vienna , menu is typical Austrian dishes . The food was excellent, the staff were outstanding, the place has a nice atmosphere too , It was a great start to our third visit to Vienna .Many thanks to all .

We enjoyed it so much we ate here twice. We usually try to eat at different places every night on our vacation but there are a few restaurants that fall into the (Eat Twice!) category. The service was excellent, waiters were very friendly and helpful. The food and the wine wonderful. They had no problem changing a menu item for us. Prices are what is to be expected for this type of restaurant. Tourists eat here but they also have their regulars. Piano player is a nice touch. I wouldn't worry about wearing something special but I wouldn't show up in a t shirt either.
