"Visited with some family and friends, who recommended the all-you-can-eat sushi special for the whole table. We came in mid-afternoon, when it was nice and quiet. I think we had two or three rounds of sushi rolls, and two rounds of nigiri, among other things. Everything was really good, but the volcano rolls were my favorite. The all-you-can-eat special was thirty-five dollars per person, but you definitely get your moneys' worth; each person had at least four rolls and a few pieces of nigiri. The cost of the special also includes appetizers, which was nice. The pieces of nigiri were on the small side, but the small portions made sense; when it comes to the all-you-can-eat special, they apparently charge you extra for food you don't finish. We finished everything we ordered, so it wasn't an issue. I wish they had cold matcha, but I was happy with the cocktail I ordered instead.Strongly recommend the all-you-can-eat special if you're with a group of three or more people and you're okay with the cost. It's a good choice for special occasions."

"We ordered sushi from this restaurant. Unfortunately, there were some cons. The packaging was disappointing as the special rolls were thrown into the container without much care, with two pieces not even being cut properly. Additionally, there was a lack of fish compared to rice for the price paid. The utensils provided were of cheap material with splinters, making them unpleasant to use. The amount of soy sauce provided was also lacking, despite requesting extra. However, there were some pros as well. The staff was polite and helpful, and the order was quickly prepared. The sushi itself was delicious. Overall, despite the good qualities, I would not choose to return to this restaurant."

"Everything on the menu sounded so good! It was hard to make a decision! The Maki here is so tasty, and the food is beautifully presented and well-portioned. Ann was my server, and she was kind and attentive. The atmosphere is very quaint, as well, and very nice to stop into for a quick bite. Plus, it doesn't break the bank, which is never something to complain about. Thanks for the delicious lunch!"

"A wonderful ramen option in the heart of Eugene. We have been looking for a replacement since moving from Michigan and a few here came close, but this definitely takes the cake. The options were numerous and we tried a few different appetizers as well, including the heavenly fresh gyoza and the KFC-Career Ending fried karaage. The atmosphere feels very authentic and we were greeted by a short older man with silver hair, peeking out from the kitchen to make sure he knew we had been seen. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a large menu will all keep me coming back for more and more."

"This is the second time I come here, it's just as I remember delicious. We had the combination tempura, tempura California roll, dragon roll and popcorn lobster roll, no complaints here loved it all. Price point is ok but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I don't mind paying as long as it worth it. We live in LA what do we expect. The service was great helpful and attentive. It's a small space but all the tables are at a decent distance. Low light,relaxed vibe."

"The staff is very unattentive. Service is hard to get these days but I am always disappointed when staff socializes more with each other than with customers. The phone rings and rings. Online ordering is easy. The cooks are always great and the presentation of the rolls is on point. The restaurant needs a makeover. Same tables, chairs, and wall hangings for years. The floor is dirty and tables are sticky. The food is fresh and that speaks volumes but no longer my favorite sushi restaurant in Gilroy."

"we just have to eat with this wonderful restaurator. this resturant is hidden in a small shopping center. the atmosphere is amazing. the walls of the rest are covered in the velcros of the frequent esser. the sushi is artistically prepared with skill. I had the vampirrolle. I usually get a spin or something spicy, but I felt adventurous. it was delicious. the crab was cooked better than I had at many five star restorations. "You know how in neo-noir movies there's meetings with shady characters where they talk business over sake and sushi? Yeah, that would be this place. The food is pretty great, I can't complain. Freshly served and neat presentation. Had some miso soup and a Cherry Blossom roll with hot tea, and they were pretty good and just plain pretty. Portions are on the smaller side though, so be warned. The atmosphere is not extraordinary, but it works well. It's an unfussy place, didn't seem very crowded. Service was good and, although not prompt, can't complain. There seems to be a large variety of rolls, with the traditional fare much cheaper than the special rolls. I went a bit fancy, but you can get meals tea under $20 if you'd like. Overall, it's a pretty good place for a quiet evening bite."

"Food is delicious and atmosphere is great. My favorite dish to order here is the lemon chicken soup. It’s very creamy, coconutty and yummy. My boyfriend likes the fiery beef salad. It’s a little too spicy for me personally but I always find myself indulging it sooner or later anyway! "The restaurant has a lovely Japanese decor and a diverse menu. The Japanese curry, a rare find, was delicious. The Volcano Salad was also tasty and generously portioned. The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was relaxing, although the presence of a TV deducts a star in my rating. I am excited to return and try other dishes."
