"Our family really enjoy this restaurant. We found it by happenstance for happy hour on our last visit to Houston. On a return trip to the area we made a point to find it again for dinner. We were not disappointed. It is clearly a neighborhood favorite, has a business-casual sophistication, friendly and welcoming service and the food is phenomenal. It is a wonderful respite after a long day at the medical centers and we will return for every visit in the future."

"So my wife and I were at 190 Sunset for dinner tonight...Rethinking of us are Picky-Esser... we had fantastic appetizers crabcake and lobster Mac and cheese. Both were so good. For our main thing, she ordered Scallop Risotto to eat fantastic... one of our favorite things and she felt that it was the best she had eaten.... I ordered the Chicken Parm, I couldn't decide that I felt it was a safe bet... I got it and I just didn't like it... Server came by and he offered me something else... While in my new order my wife and I talked to us about how it tasted and the sauce was runny. The server immediately returned and told me my Halibut would be just a minute and apologised that they tasted the chicken parmesan in their back and realized that they had not left the pasta well enough so that it was the Sauce runny and bland... I got my halibut, it was crazy good... she gave us free dessert and it was also incredible (beignets and chocolate mousse cakes) I can tell you that my wife and I will definitely tell our friends and we will definitely return... also, order the chicken parm after the received service, the court I received is not indicative of what they serve..."

"Met up with some friends for a late lunch at the Cured. Absolutely amazing menu, with lots of special options you no longer see at other restaurants. The food was delicious, drinks were very good and the service was on point. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Cured. "The service was not good. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizers and then it took another 30 minutes to get our meal. Overall, it took almost an hour and a half to get the entree when we ordered everything all at once. The food itself was ok. Nothing great but I wouldn't say bad either. It was just the service itself that brought it down. And the waitress was not attentive and didn't say anything about the lateness until we asked about it. I think she thought we wouldn't notice that we saw other couples and families come after us, eat and leave before us. But the way it was handled was awful. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place."

"one of the top 3 restaurants my friend and I were too and our favorites in charleston. eating was spectacular and our service was impeccable! we felt well looked after during our experience in the restaurant, from the bar tender, hostess, watergirl, server and waiter. we recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs a chic night in charleston/wants. there is a maisbrot and french brot starter (free). it was better than most brote, second, we ordered the charcuterie board and that was lovely. it had fun spreads and great tasting meats, including a leber spread (was good! . I had the scallops and charleston gold rice. it was outstanding! the tears melt in my mouth. the skalopps were crispy outside and tasty soft in the middle. my friend had the grilled heavy fish and she loved it so much she said it was the only best dish on our whole trip. for the side we had grotten (okay, collar green (to vinegary for me) and crispy bruise (very good! ."

"My first time here...a graduation celebration. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was 5�. I had the swordfish special with 2 shrimp atop the swordfish which included the most delicious rice and vegetable sides I've ever eaten. Seriously? I'm not a rice person but, this entree could change that quickly. Others had the shrimp, seared scallops, baked oysters, the calamari small plate and Caesar salad made right at the table. Not one complaint! Awesome. The waterfront location and parking validation is just a bonus! "First time customer during restaurant week. The restaurant was not busy. But the service was extremely SLOW. We had to wait 30 plus minutes for our appetizers. About 20 minutes for our entrees and about 15 minutes for our dessert. Our server was nice, but the SLOW service and lack of attentiveness made what could have been a very nice experience mediocre. There were some menu items that was of interest to me, but I am very hesitant to give the restaurant another try......the service was just too bad."

"Went here mid-day on Saturday and the place was quite full, and so a little noisy, but really not bad. Would have loved any type of a view but were almost as far from the windows as you could get which was a little disappointing especially after having driven an hour to meet friends there. But the food was good, as was the wine/drink list. Nothing terribly special/fancy but very tasty and at reasonable prices. Service was also good, with our waiter quite willing to take the obligatory table picture."

"They didn’t even have my reservations, so they sat me at the back of the bar. Then after a drunk white man and his Karen assaulted my friend by pushing her calling her a black b and the man grabbing her wrist, then 4 other white men surrounding us, myself and my friend obviously upset they put her out! We all ended up leaving but security said she had to go. Plus my other friend got charged 100 more on her bill, and management told her this happens often and to call back I’m a few days to see if they can refund her money! New management is definitely needed. Our bartender was great tho, she tried to accommodate my party and was super apologetic and sweet. But I’ll stay away from this place especially when men are allowed to physically assault a woman and she gets asked to leave."
