"Overrated and highly disappointed at how this establishment disrespected my tastebuds. Where should I start? Uhmm..the one star is for my review only. Went in for dinner on 10/21/23. The atmosphere did not seem “high class” as they want it to be. I’ve been to multiple 5 star restaurants around the country and this is not one. 2. That cheese plate needs to be redesigned. There is no way that goat cheese should be that large. (Disgusting). 3. If your establishment wants to be “top rated” use words the general public can understand. The “goat cheese” mac and cheese was filled with oil and had no flavor. 4. The scallops were tasteless and chewy. 5. My husband had a steak that was flavorless and he said the “duck fat fries” tasted like regular fries from any other establishment. 5. The waitress came to my table once to ask if I needed another drink and another to get the check. (She did get a tip) My advice to anyone. Go somewhere else where you can have memories. This place falls short. This was not an enjoyable memorable dinner rather it’s something I will never try again, even if I am offered a free of anything from local chop. "We got led to the back of the restaurant where we were seated. About 20minutes later I had to flag down the host to ask if we could order our food. Shortly after our waitress came by and took our order. I think she checked on us once while eating and the family next to us had to ask for water twice from a man carrying dishes. We finished our food and walked to the front of the restaurant to pay for our meal. I really love hooleys and hope that can do better in the future. Id go to the LA mesa location."

"This place is just amazing in person as it is online! My friends and went to Lillie’s on 49th! We had the best corner; perfect for pictures and videos! Our seating was for 1hr but turned out to be 4 hrs long; we got so lucky! Appetizers entree and desert was really good! The drinks were also good! We had the most amazing waiters and servers! "This place is such a hidden jewel! My friends and I had an impromptu holiday party here last week and it was absolutely perfect! The area on the back (the bar painted) was ideal for our group and gave us a half private area! We had a delicious cheese plate and could order in dinner from a nearby pizza place. (I'm such a sucker for a bar that allows outdoor food) The bartender could make recommendations that fit any range for wine! I bought a bottle to take my mother, based on the bartender's expert advisor. You also have a killer beer and a selection. On the page: During our visit there were some people if you were looking for a new date point! Ooh and they also have local art on rotation that you can buy! Ahh 10/10 will definitely be back!"
