"Honestly I have given this location stellar reviews elsewhere but last night our experience was so below-par that I felt compelled to review. I don't know if the sous-chefs were new or what happened but our food was so watered down and bland. I was shocked because we are creatures of habit, ordering the same few menu items every time we go there (which is a couple of times per month). This his the first time the food has been so bad but I really don't want to go back now. We spent $90 including the $10 tip and it was money wasted. I hate wasting money. The service was great and our waiter was so sweet but I can't bring myself to want to go back. We dined at the Milestones in Mississauga just a week prior and had no issues. I hope this isn't a glimpse into the future of this location because if we ever do go back and re-experience the disappointment I felt last night, it will definitely be our last."

"Ricotta pillows and the mushroom Ravioli with mushroom truffle sauce were very good. Service was outstanding. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night. The staff put on the heaters for us which was perfect. We will be back."

"At last, a restaurant that focuses on serving healthy options! I am thrilled to have discovered this regenerative restaurant. It caters to both vegans and meat-eaters. Though we dined indoors, the shaded patio at 5:30pm seemed like a good choice for our next visit as it appeared to be popular. The service was excellent and I was delighted to see options like kombucha and lavender honey latte, available with oat milk, soy milk, whole milk, or raw milk. There truly is something for everyone at this restaurant!"

"The server seemed new, and that was okay. He was very pleasant and tried to learn our names. He seemed caught up on our names and didn't really seem to remember much else. We ordered sparkling water, and got still. I ordered a gluten free app, and that came out right. And then I ordered a seafood pasta with gf penne, and he kept asking if it was a salad... Why would I need pasta if it was a salad? The food was good, but then we had to wait a half an hour for our bill. We presented some vouchers that they didn't seem to know how to process, and then the bill came back with two bottles of water on it, even tho the first one came out incorrect. They did take it off eventually but it did take half an hour to sort everything out. For paying 80 dollars for a meal for 2 you expect better service. At the end of the meal he couldn't even remember our names...."

"Bar Meal On July 8th. Qualified like here as I have had good experiences here mostly eating more casual fare at the bar. Reason for the qualified is that it is very pricey for what you get compared to other places. Almoast double it seems at times for sushi of the same quality.<br/ <br/ That being said it is a nice nice space and the opportunity to order off both the sushi and steak menu is a plus. Had a delightful spring greens salad with shaved fennel and their house vinegar based dressing instead of the balsamic one, as I am not a big fan on this one. Bulleit Rye Manahattan was a winner as well.<br/ <br/ Got a couple of sashimi varieties, snapper and toro, both of them very good BUT the toro $18) was so good I got another order. Interesting that they have only two HUGE canned Japanese beers packing a $10 price tag so those are share cans.<br/ <br/ This amount of food and drink should not cost almost $100 with tip but alas it did. That is where the like gets it qualified. <br/ <br/ Good to great yes? But more often than not cannot afford the price tag."

"Ordered the $30 Beef Stroganoff thinking it would be a nice treat. Went to pick it up, no receipt, no big deal. Get it back to work and it's either completely the wrong order or the worst Beef Stroganoff I ever had. No sliced steak as advertised, just ground beef. Tasted like a Bolognese sauce. Paying $30 for a single item I expect it to at least be right."

"my long-time friend and I went to the runner to celebrate our birthdays. the service was excellent, the lunch was delicious and of course the was beautiful. because it was a Monday afternoon, there were not many diners who were good for us. the menu offers many possibilities of apps, suppe, salat, handheld items and a full dinner. this is our place for special occasions as my friend lives in the north of new jersey and loves the water view."

"First the pros: the food was good (except for the side Caesar salad), generous portions, fair prices. The cons: VERY POOR SERVICE. Our waiter acted like he was completely bored. Never looked at us when taking our orders. I ordered a glass of sangria, it never came. I noticed others around us got theirs promptly. I asked about it twice. He ignored me and it arrived after the appetizers, around the same time as my main course. He never came back to refill our glasses. When he brought the check, again he never made eye contact nor thanked us for coming. We were celebrating my birthday and my husband made a special trip ahead of time to reconfirm the reservations and tell them it was a birthday dinner. Of course nothing was done for us, but I noticed other people did get a birthday treat. I told the hostess on the way out about the terrible service. She smiled and seemed to know exactly who I was referring to. The poor service really put a damper on an evening I was looking forward to. My husband I agreed we would go again, but make sure we had another waiter."

"Restaurant is tiny but charming (extended in spring/summer) tables are squeezed together (more difficult with bulky winter clothing). Servers are beautiful and accommodating. Unfortunately, espresso machine did not work, so we missed our cappuccino. Light brunch options were very good."

"I live right across the street and have been wanting to come here for a while. Even though there were no heaters we opted to sit outside and cozy up with some warm drinks and warm apps and entrees. The food was amazing and presentation was great. Our server was delightful! I highly recommend The Blue Dog!!"

"I called to make a reservation. When I arrived, they had tables and clean floors. They asked me if I had a reservation and directed me to my reserved table. One thing I think needs attention in this restaurant is the amount of menus I read. I had 4 menus on my table. It felt like a library was all read. I ordered the curry chicken pots. It was so delicious. Puff pastries on top was flaky and the curry sauce was just the right amount of spice. Absolutely delicious. Another thing is that 2 servers did not know what to recommend. Most likely because the menu changed 2 days before. Please make sure that the employees try to eat so they know what is recommended. The restaurant was very clean and the menus also had cheap prices. Desserts were also very delicious and Across the Board I would say excellent portions and prices..."

"5 stars for convenience, variety and pricing — yummy options too! You spend a lot of time researching for “the” perfect place but this has so many options and every place we tried was amazing. Breakfast, lunch, bakery, pasta, sit down, yogurt, mini-donuts…wow — so much to offer. We had brunch/breakfast at Epicerie Boulud a number of times during our visit. Loved the salads, breakfast sandwiches. Cannot go wrong especially if you’re hungry, can’t decide and need options — or something heavy … – show"
"I have been to Milestones in Kamloops twice in 2 weeks. The first Friday, I went with my husband, we waited 25 minutes to be seated then we were finally seated at a table for 2 with 5 empty , set tables around us which seemed unusual since the waiting room was full. We then sat and waited for someone to acknowledge our presence which actually never happened and after waiting 20 minutes just to have a waiter talk to us, we left and went to another restaurant. Because I love the food at Milestones, I convinced 2 of my kids to go with me this last Friday night (my husband will not come anymore). I made a reservation, we were seated right away and our waitress was excellent, very attentive (until the time to order dessert) and our appetizer and dinner were brought in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the computer system must have failed because towards the end of the meal, I noticed a restaurant full of people, many getting frustrated, some leaving without ordering and almost all the wait staff sitting at 2 big tables near the kitchen manually do their bills. It was highly disorganized. I understand that systems fail, I have worked in many restaurants over the years and this stuff happens. But why would you abandon ALL your customers? Perhaps the 2 most mathematical waiters could have explained to their customers that someone else would take over for them temporarily while they calculate bills and 2, not 8 waiters could sit and calculate the bills while the others explain what is going on, manually write down what each person ordered at their tables, cover the tables of the 2 who are calculating which would have allowed the dining experience to not be so disruptive. We waited 45 minutes to get our dessert (which we finally ordered to go) and to get our bill which we actually calculated before the waitress got to us. 75% of the experience was excellent but I must admit it was extremely frustrating trying to get our dessert and bill so we could actually leave!"
