I was a bartender for the chain in the early 2000s when the restaurants were a destination. after the “Great Recession” the company had to make some understandable changes (I.e prix fixe menu options,) but once the economy was restored, the restaurants could not go to the hand. I tried ruth tonight after a few years again, hoping for a change. I was disappointed again. calamari soggy, caesar salat extremely salty, filet only lacking, side served without servierutensils . there was no car on the steak, at the point where I swear it was sous vide and tasteless prepared. remember the days when the plate was so hot, the butter still splashed while it was served? no more so much. I can think of much better restaurants to $500 for a party of 4."
