Spicy chicken pieces stir-fried with bell peppers, onions, and a tangy chili sauce for a flavorful kick.

"came here on a Wednesday night for my mother's birthday dinner. Definitely expensive $140 bill for 3), and ask to speak with a manager if you have any food restrictions, but good food. Loved the lamb trio and the Okra fish. The Samosa avocado chaat was like a deconstructed samosa with lots of fresh avocado and a yogurt sauce. Delicious. Service, wise disappointment for such an expensive place. They offered nothing special for a birthday dinner and unfortunately we had a misunderstanding with our order. My husband hates Cilantro and we asked for Cilantro on the side also said he was allergic). But every article of our food came covered or included with Zilantro, even after we tried 2 more times to clarify after our starter arrived with it. So a tip if you have food restrictions to be super clear, maybe try “No, what at all” or I would recommend to ask, maybe talk to a manager when you order?"

"We've been going to Bollywood Grill since it opened and have never left disappointed. We're very picky eaters and won't return just because a restaurant used to be a favorite. That's never been an issue with Bollywood since it's so consistently fresh and tasty, and we believe the best Indian in town."

"We enjoyed this restaurant for years, but sadly the quality has fallen off dramatically the last few orders. The lamb is now quite tough and chewy, and some of the other food tastes like it's well past expiration. Tonight it seemed like our whole meal had been sitting out for more than a day. The staff have been apologetic each time we mention it, but they nonetheless seem uninterested in doing anything to rectify the situation for us in practical terms. We'll be looking elsewhere from now on."

"My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Mela. The butter chicken and chicken vindaloo were both delicious, served promptly, and the service was excellent. We will definitely return in the future."

"Kathmandu Cuisine serves both vegan and meat options. Of course I went the plant-based route with her Aalu Sadeko potatoes) $10) and the Aalu Bodi Tama $12) that made a stuffed curry with black eyebrows, potatoes and bamboo shoots. The potatoes were hot. Loved the flavors, but didn't know how much of a kick it would have lol. Certainly, rice or bread need to cool down or ask for less spices if your tolerance is not high. My physical tama was also very tangy with a kick, and went well with my side of Roti. I noticed that all meat options first came out and it took more time for me to get my veggie options so my friends decided to wait until my came before eating. While the food was quite good, I wish that more of the vegetarian options would be vegan friendly, or that they would be able to see what items were naturally vegan. Even with their extensive vegetarian menu, I had to look for some dishes online at the end to check and see if they fit my diet. Unfortunately, their veggie momos are not vegan friendly, but their impossible meats were. I didn't want to spend the $6 on it, but that's how I had to tip tonight. The service was decent at night when we left. Although it wasn't super packed, it seemed like they were understaffed as it took us a while to get menus and then order. During the meal we were not very often checked and always needed water to help with the spice level of food. I know the staff worked very hard, but I think a bit more attention would be great."

"This was our favorite Indian restaurant 20 years ago. We hadn't been in a long time since we had moved to another part of the city. We moved back to this area and thought it would be fun to go back there. Never again. We waited an hour for our food which was simply awful!!! The naan fell apart and the insides looked like cat food, really! My Chicken Vindaloo was the worst that I have ever had and my husband's shrimp was burnt to the point that it tasted like nothing. He never came to check on us and when I asked for a second cup of tea, he charged me for it!!! I had waited almost fifteen minutes to get it and we were done eating and waiting for the bill. No chutneys were given with the naan. If this was my first Indian food experience, I would never eat it again. Go to Taj Mahal in Hales Corners if you want good Indian food with great service. Avoid this place. And there was a fly trap on one light fixture and some sort of food drippings next to me on the wall. Just gross!!!"

"We brought our couple friends with us and ordered 4 meals and paid for all meals. I let the server know that I had a group, she marked it on my phone and didn't take the $20 off the bill... I checked my bank card and the bill went through without the group. No good experience. I don't think the server was good... a creepy person."

"Delicious food, impeccable service, and a back room that was perfect for a group of 22 British expats who know/miss a good curry. Our thanks to Sunny and team for a perfect night out. We appreciate that food is cooked to order and served to preference, which provided time to enjoy your lovely starters over conversation. Thank you for permitting us to linger (pre and post meal) at the bar. We'll definitely return to our neighbourhood favourite!"

"Best Indian food right around the corner: Saffron restaurant is walking distance from my house and I didn’t know about it although it hasn’t ben opened for more than 4 months. In a nutshell, we had our best Indian meal in the past 4 years. Everything was great: Shimp chilli, Daal Makhani, Saffron prawn Kabab Masala, Jamene Mahi Mahi etc… We are so fortunate to have a such a great Indian restaurant so close to our home in Pinecrest. We will definitely go back."

"I've been to Nepali Chulo many times, and I've never been disappointed. The service is always attentive and caring, and the food is out of this world. The flavors are so succulent, rich, and flavorful that I can't help but moan in enjoyment the entire time I'm eating. It's truly exquisite! My favorite dishes are the Tikki Masala, Lamb Curry, and Butter Chicken. The Tikki Masala is a creamy, tomato-based curry with tender chicken tikka. The Lamb Curry is a hearty, flavorful dish with tender lamb chunks in a rich sauce. And the Butter Chicken is a classic dish with succulent, juicy chicken in a creamy, buttery sauce.I also love the cheese naan and pakora chicken appetizer. The cheese naan is soft and fluffy, and it's perfect for scooping up the curry. The pakora chicken is crispy and flavorful, and it's a great way to start your meal.If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Nepalese meal, I highly recommend Nepali Chulo. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. You won't be disappointed! Here are some additional details about the food and service at Nepali Chulo:The menu features a wide variety of Nepalese and Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori meats, and vegetarian options. The food is made fresh to order, and the flavors are bold and flavorful. The service is attentive and friendly, and the staff is always happy to make recommendations. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and it's a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family."

"I would avoid this place. The food is pretty bad. My husband and I ordered Biryani, Samosa, Mango Lassi and Butter Chicken Masala.Couldn’t finish any dish and had to dump more than half of it. Chicken tasted like I am eating something gone bad, there were small pieces of bones coming in every bite. I hope we don’t get stomach infections after this. Probably their food is not fresh. Biryani didn’t have any flavours and samosa was so dripping oil. Only saving grace was Mango lassi. But all in all, definitely not worth your money."

"as the people will testify to my work place, I usually eat Indian food wherever I am, and I am very picky about eating. I was last week in sunny cambridge and made my first call in the tanjore indian restaurant, which was an absolute catastrophe. the idlis were dry and crispy. the masala dosa was limp and tasteless. my second visit was the shanti restaurant on 7 broad canal way where the eating was perfect. they have a decent buffet. but the outstanding highlight of my visit was the desi dhaba'. I ordered the sweet soup, tandoori roti, aloo gobi, aloo nut and rice over my 3 visits. the service was fast. the chefs, fortunately, agreed to wish to make eating with as fewer oil and choke as possible (as home coke food). the accompanying chutneys were fresh and tasty. absolutely authentic, healthy and delicious (it does not always happen together). head and shoulder over all others. it is not a very nice place, but neat, clean and spacious. I would recommend this place to everyone in a heartbeat."
