"I highly recommend visiting this place; it is absolutely fantastic. The ambiance and decor are flawless, and I had the pleasure of sitting at the gorgeous and inviting bar.To start off, I ordered the Local chopped salad, and it completely surpassed my expectations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, with crisp greens and delectable olives. The main course was nothing short of incredible. I opted for the Cacio e Pepe, and it left me in awe. The chicken was tender and paired perfectly with the freshly made pasta. I enjoyed the chicken so much that I devoured every last bite! The pasta itself was tender and bursting with freshness. What impressed me even more was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond by recommending a wine that paired perfectly with my meal. They even allowed me to sample a splash to ensure it was to my liking. The overall experience was outstanding. The staff was super friendly, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I am definitely planning to return in the future."

"The food was phenomenal, the variety of the selection is impressive, the service was amazing. Tasty authentic food. Modern contemporary restaurant. Food was served very well in a tapas setting, which allows you to try a lot of dishes. Plenty of food to be satisfied with. We will definitely be regular customers. Thank you Bapak Hadi and Bapak Phan!!"

"I visited the southern beach and stumbled over Pelican Restcafe. It wasn't as crowded as other places on the strip of Ocean Drive. The hostesses were friendly and sweet. The exterior seats and interior seats had a beautiful ambience touch. towards Ocean Drive. Steps to the beach. Stylish decor. Pillows on seats for comfort. Customer service was perfect. For dinner I had ordered a Bruschetta appetizer and Alaskan King Salmon. The Bruschetta came with 4 pieces of toast. It was perfectly cooked directly with a beautiful crack. It wasn't soggy. At first bite, taste the crunchy and in the middle of the toast it was fresh and soft. I had only eaten two for a party of 1. The part was great for me. I couldn't finish it. The Alaskan King Salmon paired with asparagus and mixed salad. As soon as I took my first bite, the flavors were lemon and butter. Can't go wrong with lemon butter! The King Lachs grilled to perfection cooked. The skin was not soft. It had its slight blow. I can't get over the flavors! It was so frightening. These flavors were married together. You know, if your palates dance, you have a good food orgasm in your mouth. Most places can't cook good salmon. It is either cooked over or under. But for this food I had it was the best record ever! Flavors and presentation are the key! Cudos to the cook on the plate!"

"I really love this place a few years back. Use to go here every weekend when I use to live around the area. I order a smoke meat hash and always hits the spot. But lately everytime I go back the smoke meat hash feels more like eggs and potatoes now. There's hardly any meat anymore wich is kinda sad."

"The food was enjoyable, but I was taken aback by the added $2 fees for condiments such as butter and jam. The sides were generous, similar to those found at a steakhouse and meant for sharing. The service was average - we had to request things multiple times and received them late, such as water refills taking 20 minutes. Overall, I wouldn't discourage someone from giving it a try, but I personally don't plan on returning."

"Had $1 oysters in the summer. They were fantastic, very fresh! The new outdoor seating is great and they had an absolutely fantastic orange wine as special at the time. The great thing about this place was that the oyster happy hour was at a decent time (Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, if I remember correctly! . Hopefully they will have the same deal this summer!"

"We have not be back since Mothers Day, this was our first time and the food was luke warm at best, crab legs the first time we went up were brownish color and tasted terrible. More were brought out and were the perfect color and tasted better. The hot entrees were not tasty due to being cold or warm. Lox was fresh and very tasty, unfortunately it was not kept up and was always out when we went up. Bagels were dry and hard. Prime rib was way over done and cold"

"Unfortunately, the quality control at this restaurant is very poor. I have ordered from here many times and it can be hit or miss. This time, the delivery was subpar. There was only half of a tortilla chip in the bag and a piece of what seemed to be boiled ham in my dish, which was not listed as an ingredient. When I requested laughs (whatever that means), they said they were out and offered "huh" instead. I then asked for grilled chicken, but received pulled chicken instead. Additionally, utensils were requested but not provided. I had to go to a nearby restaurant to get some. I will definitely reconsider ordering from here in the future."

"A very nice restaurant but if your party is not al there. They will not seat you. We had to wait over an hr because we added 2 people to our party. The service was a little slow too. Food and drinks were good."

"that did not live on the hype. it wasn't great. the personal also treated a hospitable at my table very bad. my gast is a dark black man with slender and within 5 minutes of him sitting down on our table a coworker accused him of wearing an open container alcohol sold outside their business. they did not ask him about the content of the drink and the drink did not seem to me alcoholic. and he didn't bother anyone and was drunk or disordered. I was very deposed by this employee interaction and it ruined my entire experience of the restaurant. although I am frustrated as my gast has been treated, this type of treatment of black patrons is very on the brand for Coronado/a coronado business. will not come back."

"What an amazing place!!! Truly one of a kind in this neighborhood, the perfect weekend brunch spot. Judging by how quickly this small restaurant filled up, other locals (or recent transplants) have discovered this place already. The food was delicious.Like oh my God, so fresh, with herbs and good quality veggies. They have a great cocktail menu too, tho I did not partake. Agreat find, might become my new favorite place. Thanks Claudia!!!"

"This definitely is a niche restaurant in Calgary and a relief from all the steak places, which offer Veggies fake meat substitutes full of fake fat, blood and gristle and only suitable for carnivores on a health kick, these days... The days of the textured bean burger are numbered and these gruesome replacements are going to be the only thing on their menus in future... . Anyway away from that rant... Minimalist and chic with excellent, attentive helpful staff who were not in your face all the time. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were accommodated without fuss... I had the pear and gorgonzola Ravioli, which was delicate in flavour and rich and filling in content. personally I would have upped the gorgonzola content but I'm weird that way.... Mrs B had the squash pasta which gave her inspiration for future home cooking.. Dessert selection was superlative, though i stupidly went for the Tiramisu which came in a plastic cup with a lid makingit look store bought and wasn't as exciting as the real bakery stuff they had in the display fridge. I was too lazy to go and look so that's my own fault.... Wine was good value. I just had the house white and it was pleasant, dry and a nice quaff. Didn't taste like the cheapest hock they could find and was up my street for a casual drinking wine. Only concern was that we had a starter but were only part way through when the main course arrived.. at least though they didn't whip the starter away, which I have had done elsewhere! Prices are a wee bit on the high side, but again in this time of inflation they probably need it to survive. I would recommend it as a change from the boring old chains which unfortunately remain ubiquitous throughout Canada More power to their independent elbow!"

"We went to have dinner at this cafe. It is a French cafe so they serve French cuisine. For the most part the food was good. The Escargot Bourgogne, Assorted Artisanal bread, Beef Bourguignon, and the Crème Brûlée was good. My Stew, I forgot the name, which is basically a seafood stew was something I didn?t enjoy. It was bland . I had to put quite a bit of salt and pepper for flavor. We also ordered the Steak Frites, which is a NY strip steak. My husband and I didn?t"

"Unsure what Mystic Cafe would hold we were pleasantly surprised with the menu offerings realistic prices. As it was lunch we ordered sandwiches with good side dish offerings (chicken curry soup was delicious). Staff were friendly accommodating with substitutions on a Veggie Sandwich. The unique setting held not only stuffed animals but metal work, musical instruments 1900's equipment, furniture. We would have loved to take advantage of their Latte' bakery area but were too full. If we get down to Lewiston again we will definitely try to stop in again maybe even eat outside."

"Definitely worth visiting a true neighborhood gem with an amazing coffee and a great healthy options menu. The portions are large enough to keep you energetic from the morning till the evening. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We've loved the atmosphere as well you can grab your drink and choose where you sit, and you will be served by a staff member when the order is ready. Will visit again for sure"

"We dropped by for lunch yesterday with plans to have crepes and frozen yogurt. The employee informed us that they no longer serve frozen yogurt, only ice cream. This was confusing as frozen yogurt was one of the main reasons we used to frequent the restaurant, which was still being advertised. It's possible that the employee had difficulty understanding English. The crepes were good and the atmosphere was nice. It's a shame about the frozen yogurt if that's indeed the case."

"Super cute venue for a brunch (or cocktails). Stopped by around noon and waited 20 mins for a table for 2. Their cocktails are stiff and tasty. Food was ok. Service is excellent. Parking is easy in the resident neighborhood behind the restaurant (unlike other parts of LA)"
