"my excitement to take my wife to eat at bb for months. I heard about it in the wmal radio and couldn't wait. I would read and read their website. the first red flag was when I asked for reservations. the person who answered the phone simply said hello, not answer with the name of the restaurant, so I had to ask to ensure. then I could hardly understand what they said, so I called again when it came closer to the special date. the same thing happened. Thank you, when we arrived, we had reservations, because noone was allowed to feed only when they had stopped. now for a culinary experience. our waiter was new and knew nothing about the bourbons and even told me about the available flights. he also knew nothing about any of the foods because managment and peculiarities do not offer any possibilities for one of the server to try them. obsurd. now to the only positive part of the experience, except the company of my amazing braut of 39 years. eating was amazing. one of the best steaks I've ever had and my wife's cured. the seafood we had with the steak (scallops and lobsters) were also perfectly cooked and were amazing. all that has said, the hard wooden chairs were so uncomfortable and your almost sitting in the round of the people beside you. we had to be lucky to sit next to a Gung-ho-Military guy who thought the F word was manifold. we must have heard it at least 75 times. Thank God it was good to eat. one last thing. eating is too expensive."

"if you are staying in the jasper park lodge by fairmont, there are 3 options before place for meals, the most elegant is orso trattoria. the menu is varied with local meat and wine, as well as French, Italian and CA wines. the location is beautiful, opposite Lake...beauvert on the plot, mostly in the south and west. but what really differentiates is the incredible, personal and professional service of carly and tim. considering that the employees are lower after the covid than the pre-COVID days, these profis make sure that their dining room experience is a quiet, correct pace event. they can recommend excellent based on the menu and availability of options. knowing their server can be as important as knowing the cook! they are diving here without reservations about the quality of the meal, but in any case have reservations for the day/time they want to enjoy an unforgettable experience."

I came here with a group of 8 to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and honestly, everything— the food, the service, the ambience and vibes— exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive, and our server brought out a complimentary birthday brownie for my friend at the end. The interior was large and lively, and the ambience felt casual and friendly, yet sophisticated. The food was aromatic, diverse, and flavorful. "We placed an order through a turret and when my food was delivered, they had forgotten to give the scrub the salad. They offered a refund that was good, but we said we were disappointed and really wanted the salad, but understood. A little later the salad and a fresh pizza arrived with an apology for the situation. We were very impressed by their customer service and will definitely order from there again. And the food is great too!"

Only one type of Roti bread, only chicken for meat every other place I see Two varieties of nonveg chicken and goat or fish and food taste was average, not the Akbar food that I experienced much earlier. Many other places give a much much larger spread, more so on a weekend. Silver lining is that there were few customers that meant no wait time like at other restaurants"

"we had a 7pm reservation, the dining was empty, but filled up within an hour. We ordered drinks, and when they were delivered we ordered our meal. Our appetizer was very good, and the dishes were never taken away, our waiter came and asked if we have ordered our main course. The service was VERY slow. there was only one waiter and 2 bus boys, for the whole dining room. Not smart for a Valentine`s evening. There was plenty of help in the bar area."

"Our waitress, Tina, was superb!! I can’t say enough about her. She was pleasant, attentive and good eye to eye contact when she spoke to us. Very positive. Our table ordered appetizers. Our entrees were the filet mignon and a “special” which was the Chilean Sea Bass. The filets were cooked to a perfect temperature (medium rare and medium). You could SEE the slight differences. (I used to cook at the grill in a steak house). My Sea Bass was awesome. Cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful champagne sauce. A terrific dining experience!"
