"We hadnât been there a couple years and thought weâd try it out again. Came early for drinks and appsâ¦.great drinks, staff and food to start out with. Dinner out on the coveted patio was a great area to sit out in. I ordered steak, and have to say it was one of the worst steaks Iâve had in awhile. Medium rare was medium well and really lacked flavor. But desserts were great as well as all the other food and the waiter was great. Just next time Iâll go and not get steak again."

"the server were very good. very friendly and very efficient. my pan fried chicken was pretty hard and that was a little disappointing. my ess companion had the laughs and was very satisfied with their choice. I made the mistake of letting you sit on the bar height tables and it was very unpleasant for someone with short legs. next time, I'll make sure we get a normal table. I will try the bark next time, as it seems to her taste."

"We both had the wild mushroom and swiss. Asked for it rare/as rare as they would cook it, came out medium rare. Great sauce on it kept it from being a dry burger. Very messy but very good. One order of fries and one of sweet potato fries, both came out with regular fries. Eric, the manager, realized the order was wrong as soon as he put it on our table and went back to the kitchen to get sweet potato fries. They were okay, not great. Server was very attentive."

"We were looking for a good steak, and decided to give Ribeye and Rye a shot. Various websites indicated that Thursdays were “Steak Night”. Typically that means there is a discount on steaks. That was not the case at Ribeye and Rye. Their Steak night consisted of a free dessert with ANY entree, not just steaks.We were pleasantly surprised with the Ribeyes! They were well seasoned and very meaty. The quality was great and well worth paying full price!!I deducted one star only because of the dessert. They could have definitely kept that!! It was supposed to be a strawberry shortcake. Instead we received a tough piece of angel food cake with some whip cream and strawberry sprinkles. If you are going to put that as a freebie… please make it a good one or allow your patrons to order a dessert off the menu!!"

"I have heard so much about their food and decided to give it a try for my birthday dinner. I enjoyed the Trio -shrimp,crab,Maine lobster enchiladas , rice n beans had to be ordered as sides. Their alcoholic beverages were strong and tasty. Had the blended mango margarita. Red Salsa is spicy so if your palette is sensitive ask for the green one. Tasted the garlic prawns and immediately fell in love will definitely order my own next time! Oh and the ambiance was everything, perfect for date night My review for our exceptional server Valeria! Just want you all to know that our server Valeria did an outstanding job last night. She made my birthday dinner wonderful. She was very attentive and accommodating. She was perfectly poised and no one had any complaints. Thank you Val for making my night more special !"

"we misunderstood what we have booked and did not know that it is a hotel bar with restricted food. that is for us. Overall for eating the hotel is quite good and was not busy, there was no waiting. eating was average and the service staff was excellent. while we wouldn't go back, just to go to the taphouse if we stayed in the hotel we would go."

"We called ahead with a party of 12 and they were not only able to set up tables for us but serve us very well. All of the food was excellent. We had Calzones, pizza, and several pastas. The Chicken Pasta with Vodka sauce was fantastic. They have happy hour on their draft beer from 3-7 for $2.00 a 12 oz glass. Today's special, Thursday, $4.99 margaritas."

"Google tells me the last time I was here, was 4 years ago. I can't believe I waited so long to come back This place is great. We started out with the chefs special blackened ahi tuna, I would've sworn we received a double portion, it was huge and delicious. We both had French onion soup and massive salads. Our waitress was wonderful and definitely look forward to coming back again soon."

"We arrived at the Carriage House Restaurant in Emmitsburg, MD on Thursday, 1/2 hour early for our 1 pm reservation. We sat right away. I had a crab cake with potatoes. They were excellent. The food came within 10 minutes. Early on Easter Sunday we stayed there with a family meeting and it took us 1 1/2 hours to accommodate our 1 pm seat. So it's the way to plan when to go. On holidays the Carriage House is packed. During a regular weekday it is not packed and really pleasant. It is about 30 minutes north of Frederick, MD straight from US 15. Every time I was there, the food was fabulous."

"For a restaurant that specializes in cooking steaks, it was disappointing to see on all 3 steak entrees ordered that medium rare all came out medium. Still tasty, but off the mark. Considering the price and area of expertise, an unfortunate outcome. The tuna tartar was underwhelming as well. Very bland. Been coming to Mastro's for years and I wonder if there is new blood (pardon the pun) in the kitchen. My only advise is to ask for rare if you want medium rare, etc, etc."

"I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite calling ahead to let them know I would be arriving 15 minutes early at 4:15 instead of 4:30, there was no one outside to greet us and our table was not set. The server didn't take our drink order or greet us until we had been sitting there for five minutes. When we are spending a significant amount of money on a company dinner, we expect better service. The person who answered the phone was helpful and said there would be no issue, but upon arrival, it was clear that the staff was not prepared to open. This was on a Friday night, and I believe they can do better."

The clam chowder was the best appetizer on that menu. The scallop app was yummy and came out piping hot. The desserts were all delicious! Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back after magical dining"

"This is my go to place when celebrating something special. Camille’s never disappoints! Spectacular service and delicious food! It’s always hard to choose! I always start with the fresh oysters, and a garden salad. The greens are also crisp and fresh. This time, I got the rack of lamb amazing! I finished the dish I couldn’t save any to bring home, had to finish it! Be sure to leave room for dessert!"
