"until the reception of my arrival I received constantly erroneous reports that confirmed my reservation for two. I never said anything about a party of two. it was always for me. I changed the reservation to open table from two back to one. I was worried when I arrived to check in a coworker asked: a party of two? the restaurant was decorated as always very elegant. all of the furniture, curtains, art work on the walls all added, which could easily be a 5 STAR operation. for this location to reach the 5 STAR status, it obviously has potential, they urgently need to take into account two changes. 1) adopt enforce a dress code for the coworkers patrons no jeans, tshirts, flip-flops, leggings coat tie for men mozen 2) invest in new cutlery. I was almost shocked to see how silverware was anointed from a high school coffee."

"Extremely expensive, food good not great, portions small for the price. Went for anniversary and they didn’t even acknowledge although we mentioned on open table comments when reserving. Server seemed to have a very bad cold and looked like they belonged in bed, let’s not mention possible germs. Not worth the money. Appetizer, two drinks over $50, add two entrees and with tax and tip well over $150, for lunch. We’ll pass."

"Placed takeout order and had it within 5 minutes of arriving. Hands down the BEST gyro we've had since moving to Monaca. We've been to 3 or 4 recommended places and they missed the mark by far. We also got Alfredo with broccoli and mushrooms which was delicious as well. Dessert was the Swiss roll and a slice of colossal cheesecake, both of which were delicious. Will definitely be back!"

"You got to love a place that is open for all the major holidays. The Christmas menu is only limited a little but the prices were higher which is expected if they need to make it worth it for the staff. The group I was with really enjoyed their food especially the sliders and the sushi. I was even was able to get stuffing instead of fries since you need to eat stuffing on Christmas even if you don't like white meat turkey. Service was good and didn't hurry us. I think I will plan to be back next holidays if not sooner."

"This place was recommended to me, so the next time we visited Madison we really wanted to check this place out. We decided to stop in on a Saturday for lunch. We were greeted promptly and shown to a table right away. For a weekend, it was kind of busy but not super busy, which was nice because we were really looking forward to enjoying some Sichuan food. We ordered the Spicy String Beans (very well-seasoned and tasty), the Shredded Potatoes with Spicy Sour Sauce (a bit heavy handed with the vinegar but cooked perfectly), and the Spicy Crispy Chicken (very crispy and not too spicy). Overall, for a Sichuan restaurant, their spice level was actually on the milder side. I would have preferred a bit more kick in their dishes but other than that all the dishes we ordered were delicious and hit the spot. Service was casual but friendly, and our food came out only a few minutes after we ordered. We were pleasantly surprised by how fast our food arrived because we were hungry and ready to eat. They don't have their own parking, so you will need to resort to finding street parking. Would gladly come back again."

"nyaj was in a place my man was and I would often. today we brought family out of the city that we have not seen because of covid in a because. unfortunately after the service experience we had today, we will not return. due to the trip from different distances, our family came in appetizers for our 2:00 reservation. at the arrival I was greeted by our waitress “T” who waited for my man and I before. After some family members arrived, we ordered a few appetizers. it was during the appointment of our ancestors that our waitress and my sister had a exchange in the law, in which my sister in the law, which does not eat milk, asked for a change of order and did not fully understand what the waitress explained. she asked some clarifying questions and was very rudely spoken by “T” to look at the table when we should go and find a new restaurant. but we thought maybe something was going on and we'd let it go. from our point of view we could see that our waitress complained about our table to other employees and employees. When the rest of our party arrived, she never really welcomed her and offered her to take over her orders for everything. it was obvious that she was not happy to wait for us, and again we could see that they wait over us through the very sharp looks of the rest of the restaurant - which was also very disappointing and respectful. then suddenly another waitress shows that she will wait for us because t had to leave for a family emergency. we said ok and shattered our interactions with her perhaps that reason and our experience was saved by the new waitress, which was very pleasant and accommodating for our party of 7th but 15 minutes later we see t appear and begin to wait other tables, so then it was obviously the reason for the switch and not what was told us. management never came by to ask us or check to see what was going on. highly disappointed!"

"I went to this place because it was from the dealership where I made service to my vehicle and was pleasantly surprised. Our server, Ryan, was bubbly and attentive. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. At the end of our wonderful meal, the manager, Rahsan, came to make sure we had a great experience. This place will definitely be a place where my family will come over again and again. Lifetime customers!"

"The only issue I had with the place concerned the attitude of the hostess desk. I made a reservation for 8 people. However, I realized I forgot one person who was participating in a golf tournament and we didn't know he would definitely be there until he showed up. The reservation was on a Sunday at 7:00 p.m. I explained the situation and asked whether or not the table we would be at would accommodate adding a ninth chair to it should he show up. I received a bit of resistance and attitude like this could not be done since the reservations for 7:00 p.m. were full and it might require too much work to accommodate this request. I was told that I should call as soon as I knew whether or not this person was coming. I told her I could not do that since the golf tournament may not be over by 7 and my person may not be able to let me know his attendance until right at 7 or after. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, there were other people there. But it was not even a quarter full. By the time 7:00 p.m. came and went, we ended up being about the only table in the restaurant. We could have sat anywhere in the restaurant and would have been fine to add or take away people from the table. When you work in customer service, it's important to convey to the customer that we can do anything for you within normal requests and whatever has to be done behind the scenes to fulfill the requests are not the customer's concerns. I did not encounter this approach. I was disappointed."

"overall the experience was okay. the bill came out to $110 in front of the tipp and this included 2 drinks, a appetizer, 2 entrees and gloomy. the weinlist was impressive with several tasty options in any great category, but the Margarita flight was not great. the food and the service were also okay, the carrot cake was our favorite at the end. our server was very happy all the time and did not care for our meal as desired. there was also another server that had her long hair working down. at the end I felt that the experience was not worth the price. I'm not mad at my experience, but I'm probably not going to return to the future."

"We visited the first time because of their famous french fries. Tried the Ruben and the fried avocados both were great. This time we got the fried avocados and tried the horseshoe. We actually shared the entree both times, and they plated it on separate plates for us. Great food and service. This place is definitely on our list of favorites!!"

"we were entertaining out-of-state foods and thought we would try. Note that a gast that the escape chest escapes a large amount of skin and fat that was discarded. another guest who ordered a tiny Calamari steak that came with a mountain rice, had a lot to throw on the teller. side parts of kartoffels, beet, bean were beautiful, but were certainly mini-portions. a diner said that his petty tenderling was not only petty, but tough and gristy. my salat entree served with an additional lamb chopper was fabulous, but also very petty. When we came back to us, everyone was still hungry. I think we all wanted to have a great experience here, but the little bits will prevent us from coming back. we also waited very long for our escaped, because tables that sit after us were served much earlier. we had time, so it was not much from a thema to the time, but in retrospect the culinary experience compromises. I wanted to love this place, but no. we are restaurant-friendly diners and this negative review is certainly an anomaly of our norm."

"Margaux's has been on our list for awhile to check out. Wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and we're so glad we went. The vibe is next level there and we appreciate the funkiness of the aesthetic. The food was amazing along with the service. Extensive menu with a ton of options that look to change quite frequently. Margaux's will definitely be a place that we go to quite often."
