"If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This small middle eastern cafe style restaurant sits hidden in an unassuming street of the city. I practically had to walk up to see it, but once inside, the cozy decor and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I stopped by hummus kitchen half starved on the day of a snowstorm. The waitress, a friendly young vegan woman, rushed to bring me water and a cup of hot spiced cider to warm me up. The menu is an interactive affair presented on an iPad. It has a large variety of Turkish-style dishes. Vegan dishes are clearly labeled. For $17 one picks 3 dishes, such as hummus, babaganoush, falafel, etc and they come in generous portion with an amazing whole wheat pita bread that melts in your mouth. I mentioned I was half starved, so I ordered 6 dishes and could obviously not finish them (Leftovers for dinner were almost as good as lunch). The waitress, who was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout—recommending dishes, asking if I was enjoying the food or needed anything else—recommended this raspberry and coconut cream dessert. However, I was pretty full and am not a big fan of fruit compote type things, so I declined and asked for the check. As I was signing a young man, who I take to be the owner or manager, kindly asked me if I had three minutes to spare. When I replied that I did, he brought me out a dessert he said he wanted me to try. This was a generous portion of the most amazing chocolate mousse—all vegan—I have had in my life. It was topped with whipped cream and shredded coconut flakes. Pure ambrosia! My only regret: discovering this place on my last day in New York City. Absolutely amazing! Just the service makes it worth it. Highly recommend."

"This place is a really nice dinner. Favorite place in the city by far and what a great choice for fish and steak lovers (as well as cocktail aficionados! . The outdoor bar is popular with the Happy Hour crowd, while there is a ton of indoor seating for couples, friends or entertaining. Food, service and drinks are all on the point, all the time! Black groupers and Manhattans are my favorites here."

"we actually weren’t able to go on the fifth but completed our booking a week later. We ordered 2 craft cocktail dirty flirts, the menu describes them as dirty grey goose martinis with blue cheese olives and crispy prosciutto, we got 2 dirty martinis, presumably with grey goose but no blue cheese olives and they were out of prosciutto....loved the safe environment but the product was sub standard especially when the bill was over $300...."

"eating in igloo was a really funny and unique experience. the food and drinks were excellent. the waiting time for our drinks and eating was however unacceptable looung! not sure what happened there, but good that after our 90-minute time slot there was no other party because the drinks were 30 minutes alone! our dinner came at 7:10, we sat at 18 o'clock! the waitress was pleasant, but I didn't seem to have a kind of hurry to serve us in time."

"I reserved an igloo to celebrate my birthday with my husband, parents, and in laws (6 total). We have never done anything like this before and had the best time. I typically don't write reviews but felt compelled to because of the unique experience. We had great service (both our server Cody and restaurant manager Gwen were taking care of us and were awesome), the temperature was perfect (they have multiple heaters on and blankets available in case you get chilly but also said they can turn up/down heaters at request), the igloo itself was spacious and well decorated, and per usual, the food was great. While it might be a bit costly up front, $200 is easy to hit with 6 people who are ordering food and drinks. We had the best time and I would hands down do it again. We all felt beyond safe as far as COVID goes it's your own little bubble!Perfect for a celebration of any sort, girls night out, you name it!"

"This is a beautiful space and has the best looking bar in Indianapolis. It is, pardon the expression, chic and trendy. Lots of rich woodwork and a circular bar. The entire staff is cheerful and accommodating. We had early (4:30) reservations, so there were not many patrons, however, by the time we left, it was full of people. I had the Tomato and Mozzarella Salad. It was huge, with terrific tasting tomatoes. The best! My wife had the Cod, prepared unblackened and with no garlic, and the Fried Green Tomatoes. Both rated a 10! We ended with a delicious scoop of salted caramel ice cream. mmmmmmmmm! But for the pricey aspect, I would rate it a 5. so I gave it a 4."

"Ruths is one of my Favorites. The 11oz filet is what I get every time. This experience was shockingly bad. Not to mention the “regional manager” was also there. Sitting at the bar eating then wandering around watching TV. The bartender said they were understaffed and people had called out. He was the only bartender so I don’t fully fault him for the bad service. He was very apologetic and nice. Took me about 15 minutes to get a menu, a water and a dirty goose (that tasted awful too much olive juice). About out 25 mins longer for my chop salad to come out the fried onions tasted burnt and the dressing seemed off also. Then my steak finally came. Looked like 3 small filets mushed together, had a ton of fat lines, was tough to cut chewy. After 1 bite I alerted the bartender and the manager had them make me a new one which was delicious. Also the manager mentioned that he “made sure it was a center cut.” I didn’t see how busy the dining room was but clearly the bartender was too busy to take care of the bar from what I noticed in my 2 1/2 hours sitting there. I’d be happy to discuss it all in further detail. Oh also my check book was covered in dust took a sip of my wine, tasted like dirt looked at the glass COVERED in dust. I wish I had taken more photos. Place was a HOT MESS the managers didn’t seem to be worried nor care. Not taking their jackets off and helping out the bar just wandering around doing NOTHING!!!!!!!!"

"that was our first time here, but not our last. we ordered the mushroom flatbread appetizer, filet and shrimp/angelhair pasta for dinner, and the kartoffels and mac and cheese for appetizers. everything was super delicious. the service was also impeccable. highly recommended!"

"We ordered (4) steaks: two of them were medium-well and two of them were medium. When the server brought out our four steaks; the two medium ones were hot and the two medium well steaks were room temperature. They probably made the medium well first and then the medium…. But still for the price they charge for each steak they should figure out how to serve four people all four steaks to be hot."

"stopped yesterday at 4:10 when the Happy Hour began. Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00. Make a cocktail and an app at the bar. Very nice location, comfortable chairs, beautiful size bar top to enjoy both cocktails and some food and not feel crowded. The bartender Greg was very pleasant and makes a really delicious drink. My Hunny had the Rocks Rita he loved and I had Ruth's Manhattan. They use Italian amarena cherries, an adorable change from a neon-red maraschino. It is a special note like this that you appreciate the quality of your bar. We ordered the tuna pile and the sharp shrimp to start. Both delicious, but the shrimps were so fabulous I ordered a repetition when we ordered a second round of food. Rich had the best cheeseburger. The Burger quality is great, the only thing I need to comment is the temperature a little off. A little too rare, but the quality is so good that we didn't care, so we didn't make a comment. I'm just telling someone who can order it. Richly ordered medium rare and it was definitely rare. Generally, you love the atmosphere, the selection of the app is a lot to our wishes and the bartender knows how to make a wonderful cocktail! Only the perfect date for us. We will come back"

"Best chopped salad I’ve ever had. They are consistent it’s always nummy. Spaghetti and meat balls had very little flavor and sauce bland. Michael was our server we enjoyed his sense of humor. He was working hard did a great job!"

"I had dinner at this establishment and I must say, it was quite an experience. The meal price was reasonable, ranging between $50 to $100 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5, with the filet being a standout dish. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a 5 out of 5 rating; the staff was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. However, the atmosphere left a bit to be desired, scoring a 3. It's decent, but it could use some improvements to enhance the overall dining experience. To top it off, I highly recommend the classic cheesecake for dessert—it was delightful!"
