"We had a wonderful experience at McDonald's with great and quick service. After leaving Haleakala, we were really hungry and, although there were two other restaurants nearby, they were closed when we stopped. So, we decided to stop at McDonald's instead. I ordered their local breakfast, and the portion of rice was substantial, as were the eggs. I have no complaints, but my siblings found the Portuguese sausage too salty for their taste, and they usually enjoy salty food, which is saying something!"

"Make the drive to go to a different location. Somehow, this location will ALWAYS mess up the orders even when rung up correctly, and the customer service is nonexistent. Went through today and ordered 1 large fry, the first window took payment and when we got to the second window, some older lady just handed us our bag, didn 't say 2 words to us, didn 't confirm our order or ask if we want sauce. We asked for 2 sauces and she didn 't say anything and just walked away, came back with sauces in hand and showed it to another coworker and practically threw the sauces in our hands, rolled her eyes, walked away and yelled to her coworker they always ask for sauce in an upset tone. It baffles me that people work in customer service by CHOICE and complain or be rude when they have to do their job."

"I understand this is a McDonald’s; unskilled, low-wage workers, frozen re-heated food, and many young peoples’ first jobs. Every McDonald’s I go to, I partially EXPECT them to get my order wrong. Half the time I double check it, half the time I don’t. The workers at this McDonald’s seemed like competent and efficient people, so I didn’t check the bag before I left. I later found out I paid for a 4 piece McNugget, and they were forgotten. I misjudged, I live far away and will never get that money back. A lot of these places are being replaced by machines because the machines make less mistakes, lol!"

"I tried to make a quick stop to grab a bite and then head back out onto the street. As a truck driver, it can be challenging to find a parking spot and make my way to the entrance. Unfortunately, the lobby was closed, which wasn't great for someone in my position. I could see a long line of cars wrapped around the building, probably because the drive-thru was closed. I was about to give up and leave when I saw a worker taking food out to someone. I asked her if I could place my order since I was a truck driver. When I went inside, the lobby was still closed, and I found out that if you have the app, you can order from there. I wish I had the app handy, but I didn't, and I still ended up with no food. With COVID not being fully over, I wonder why the lobby is closed."

"It appears that this restaurant is in need of new management. Upon arrival, I observed a woman driving erratically in the drive-thru lane, experiencing car trouble. When it was my turn to order, the car ahead of me took a long time to move, and once it did, there was no one there to take my order. Despite calling out for assistance, no one responded. Frustrated, I left my car and went inside to address the issue with the staff, who seemed unaware of the situation in the drive-thru. I ordered a fish sandwich and a small diet coke, which seemed to be priced higher than usual. As I waited for my order, another customer came in looking for his hamburger and fries, which had been forgotten for 15 minutes. When my order finally arrived at my car, it was a fish sandwich combo that I did not want, explaining the higher price. While I could have returned to correct the mistake, I chose not to. Despite understanding that mistakes can happen, especially during busy times, the lack of attention to detail and customer service was disappointing. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant anytime soon."
