"It’s a perfect blend of elevated and affordable, romantic and easy, fresh and hefty. It’s an adorable restaurant with its own parking lot next to it (on a busy street, so that’s a plus), warm and inviting. We had our anniversary dinner here and after 6 years of high end places and trying to outdo myself, this was perfectly-not-over-the-top-but-still-celebratory-enough-for-the-occasion. I was able to make a reservation for 2 the same day at about 3pm for 7:45pm.We had the baby octopus that tasted like they caught it that morning, the grilled cheese prosciutto with black truffle, and the hazelnut salad as our starters and let me tell you, firstly that they were all 10/10, but also that by the time our entrees came out we both had to have them boxed half-eaten. I got the pheasant and mushroom pasta and she the cacio e pepe. The cacio is angel hair here, and we’re used to it being a thicker pasta, but it was still very good. Obviously did not have dessert, no room!The service was perfect. We followed a lot of the recommendations, which he gave without missing a beat, checked in on us regularly but not too often, and was pleasant all the way through. We wanted for nothing all evening.Can’t wait to come back to try more of their food! It doesn’t seem so cookie cutter like other Italian restaurants, interesting ingredients here. I recommend!!"

"Chicken francese was absolutely delicious. We did not like the table we were offered and it was such a big deal when trying to change it. It was early and restaurant was empty. The hostesses, the manager all looking and talking about the tables and took so long to seat us. We were uncomfortable and ready to leave when they agreed to sit us elsewhere. The restaurant did fill up and was very busy by the time we left. Again, the food was delicious"

"We were excited to enjoy Christmas Eve dinner again here at Lago as we did last year and it did not disappoint! Although their holiday menu was the exact replica of last years menu for $75.00 per person, this year it was $90.00 per person ouch! The food was amazing and Nick always makes you feel welcomed. Amelia and the staff gave us excellent and attentive service. We will definitely be back."

"Cocktails were incredibly tasty and fun! Husband mentioned it was one of the best bourbon cocktails he has ever had. Tapas were delicious! We ordered Patatas Bravas, Shrimp Chorizo, and Rigatoni. We would order all three again without question! You cannot go wrong with any of those. We look forward to returning to check out the brunch menu, but will definitely be back for dinner again!"

"We loved our lunch in an igloo at MM1! You cant beat the view, the igloo was cozy, and Meghan, our server, was pleasant and professional. Also appreciate the variety of items to choose from on the menu...so helpful when members of your dining party have diet restrictions, or are allergic to shellfish! Definitely will return."

"Great value and very fast service! While the menu selection isn't extensive (it started as a deli, after all), the salads are fresh, and the sides are delicious for a casual dinner. They also offer some excellent local wines, and the coffee is good, too. I particularly enjoy karaoke night on Wednesdays. We had a quiet evening on a Friday, as things winded down quite early. The staff is friendly, and we even had an interesting conversation with a family next to us who arrived in a Tesla Model X with gullwing doors, which made for a fun chat. Overall, this is a nice spot to take visitors to Silicon Valley who prefer a quick meal."

"I know it might sound like I'm exaggerating, but I've tried chicken pesto sandwiches at other places, and none come close to this one! Their chicken pesto panini was simply incredible! The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were fresh and full of flavor. The addition of pesto and mayonnaise gives it a delightful touch. But what really makes it stand out is the bread. You can tell it's incredibly fresh—soft and cooked just right. I'm really disappointed that I was only here for a work trip this week; otherwise, I would be ordering this all the time!"

"I've been here 2x's...and after the 2nd time I definitely will not be returning. The first time I walked up to the counter and said good morning...silence. I waited for a few beats. I said it again b/c maybe my mask muffled the sound it didn't). Still nothing. Finally someone said yes..I was turned off but still ordered my bagel. I was ordering a coffee elsewhere. So I went to counter to pay and the guy just said no, you need more stuff to pay by card. I have no problem with that but he was hella rude. Now, I decided to go back today. Thinking maybe it was an off day the last time. I walk up to the counter I say good morning... and got nothing. I waited a few beats and then someone asked if I was being helped. I said not yet. I was asked what did I want...I asked the gentleman if they had beef sausage. He rolled his eyes and said we have the round patties...which isn't a response to my question. I said and that's pork correct. He said yes and rolled his eyes. I was gonna just order an egg sandwich with turkey bacon, but the guy looked so annoyed. I thought why spend my money here when the customer service is a mess. I took a deep breath and said nevermind, I'll go somewhere else. The guy then threw his utensil down. Sir, you're doing the most. So yeah, I'm still I'm the market for a deli in my new work area."

"The food at the restaurant was delicious, but the portion sizes were not very large. We received only ten medium-sized tortellini with our order, and the octopus dinner special felt more like a generous appetizer. However, the dinner salads were a good value and everything tasted great. The service was just okay, as the waitress seemed distracted due to the busyness of the restaurant. The noise level was also very high, making it difficult to have a conversation. Even though we were seated in the back of the restaurant, the live music made it hard to hear each other."

"I've given this place a handful of chances but the food is just not quite right. Consistently under seasoned, wrong temperature, or way too oily. I would be happy to pay their prices if I felt the dishes were up to par but it's felt like a waste of money. Wine is way overpriced by the glass. "although our server (andrea) alexis? was very attentive and appropriately engaging, eating was a departure: wild boar ribs $28; 12 oz ribeye $42 both were bad values to their respective trips, especially as everyone came unaccompanied by any kind or other family. in particular, the ribeye was a disappointment, as it was not trimmed and the fat/sheet to meat ratio was almost 50. Moreover, there was no noticeable radiance on the steak. Regarding the wild wild boar ribs, every wild or game taste was under seasoned and sauce lost, which could come from a chain restaurant. So, they could have been, all they can eat pork babes of tgif. Once I was in the partisan, I had left better memories that, unfortunately, were not validated during this visit."
