"We had a late dinner here recently. I had not been here for years but my experiences had always been great. The menu is a bit eclectic with duck taquitos and other interesting choices. Chips and salsa are both fresh and delicious. I had the blackened ahi tuna tacos. The portion sizes are huge and incredibly flavorful. However, later that evening I did not feel well and experienced nausea and gastrointestinal problems over the next day. This meal was the only possible source of the problem as I had not eaten during the day except for some beverages. It put me off my meal experience here. We'll try it again someday but I'll be more cautious about what I order."

"??? we came as a group of 6. it was super fast service. The plates were the biggest plates I have ever seen. I definitely feel like I got my money?s worth. I recommend the guac. It?s very fresh. I also recommend the alambre. It?s like fajitas already mixed up for you and me being the only woman at the table, it was funny to see my plate alambre was bigger than everyone else?s. I had a great time even in the bathroom cus it was CLEAN! My boyfriend and his friend tried the charred jalepeno thinking it wouldn?t be hot and both people who tried it their tongues were swollen shortly after taking a bite. We laughed. The horchata was *chef kiss*. Good job tequileño."

"Tavern at Lakeside offers great drinks and food along with a lackluster dining experience. Firstly, the layout was not well thought out. Especially on busy nights, like a Friday, it feels like walking through a Tokyo subway station. Secondly, I guess their A/C was not working this night because the temperature and humidity was akin to a reptilian habitat. Thirdly, the place has a fly problem. My wife and I spent most of our time fighting off the horde of flies that were harassing us throughout out dinner. I think some ceiling fans would?ve helped with the temperature and flies, but there are none. The food was alright. Highlight of the meal was definitely the fries which were seasoned well and just the right amount of crispiness. The drinks were excellent, the mixologist was definitely having a good night. Bottom line, not the best first impression. Probably will only come back for the bar."

"Tonight, I have to say that I was very disappointed with Xcaret. I have dined here multiple times and always recommended this place to family, friends, and colleagues when they visit the city. The manager, Fernando, on the right side, claimed to be the manager of the establishment and was also our server. I don't even know where to begin. First, we waited for over 15 minutes to be seated. I went to the restroom and saw him texting, not realizing he was our server. We started with margaritas and I requested a glass of water. My aunt and I ordered mango margaritas, which were bland and lacked color. Then I ordered chicken with flour tortillas. The bread and bell peppers came out first, but no tortillas. Not a big deal, but after another 15 minutes, I saw our manager/waiter outside on his phone. I politely told him I didn't want to eat anymore because it was cold. He offered to remake it, but I declined as we had already waited a long time. Seeing our manager/waiter visit a neighboring table three times while ignoring us was very disappointing. In the meantime, the other members of my party had not received their food. After about another 15 minutes, Fernando came to ask if I needed a takeout box. I reiterated that I hadn't touched my food. He agreed to clear the table but insisted on leaving the margarita because "nothing was wrong with it." When I questioned how he knew without checking, he became defensive. The most disappointing part of my visit was his rude and dismissive attitude. As we expressed our dissatisfaction, he simply said, "It will be better in the future." Sadly, if he is actually the manager and represents the other managers at Xcaret, this restaurant may soon join the list of failed establishments in the downtown area of Winston-Salem."

"I had the burger, the CFS now the roasted chicken. ALL were excellent! I don't remember the last time I had this kind of food in a bar. My dog Max loved the terrace of the fire pit. Just what I would suggest is that you come some frozen cocktails summertime. It's getting hot. All in all, a great place we will definitely be back!"

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered food to go and they completely messed up my order. I asked for extra cheese and sour cream on my burrito, but received neither. When I called to complain, they insisted that I couldn't order sour cream on my burrito, even though it clearly states on their website that you can. I also ordered a torta without onions, but was told it was a mix and they couldn't take them out. This information was not provided on the online ordering menu. The worst part was that they took no responsibility for the mistakes. The girl at the front desk seemed indifferent and didn't seem to care if she lost her job or not."

"The food was good and well prepared. I have the Grouper, shrimp and scallops over rice with a cream sause. Me and my wife are gluten free and the waiter and restaurant accommodated our allergies with no issues. The wine was reasonably priced and the drinks were also. The view was excellent as it over looks the jetty inlet and the boats coming and going was relaxing. Waiter was pleasent and made the evening enjoyable. Overall a good experience! We will go back."

"Our server, Dakoda, made our dinner with friends amazing. He gave great recommendations, could comment on all drinks and food and even brought us an extra chair from the far end of the patio. The food has upgraded in last few years and if the upper patio is full, their main level is usually quiet with the same mountain views. Try it (again, I'd it's been awhile)."

"We ordered 3 large party trays and they were amazing! The food was very delicious and filling and will always continue to come back. Also the service is great as I was picking up my order they actually helped me carry the entire order to my car and load it in my car so each container wouldn’t fall while driving. "The server was excellent. But two people $80, no drinks is a lot. We have been married three years and went for our anniversary. They ask at time of reservation what is the occasion you are coming for. You would think the would have written a little “happy Anniversary” in the desert plate just to make it special. You don’t have to get anything for free. But a little extremity makes events special. The American Restaurant are about the same price, but are nicer and they add the little embellishments. So if your celebrating something nice, I would go there. The server was very nice and attentive. But the fish and chips was a bit greasy. Had a stomach ache after. Usually love the food."

"A beautiful local authentic Mexican restaurant. Very popular and busy, we had a party of 7 and had a decent waiting time on a table. The immersion area is quite small compared to the number of customers they receive. The chairs were specially made for the restaurant and were very comfortable and robust. A tad heavy, but this supplements the robustness. The food was delicious and delicious, Salsa had a generous kick on it! Service was hospitable and welcoming. Parking was a bit of a mess, as the parking lots were very faded and all cars seem to park everywhere. Other than this restaurant is a beautiful local bite for those seeking Mexican cuisine."

"Biggest tacos throughout the south... also the chicken quesadilla ive had never had a quesadilla like it somewhere... my absolute favorite though is they have lamb tacos and idk elsewhere that it has... and if somewhere else I very doubted his as fresh as this place... once I had the lamb taco from here was addicted... I already loved to begin their tacos, but I tried the lamb and Ohhhh man AMAZING also the fish taco with cabbage . GREAT ....definitly my favorite Mexican place in the Chicago area .... the service is also excellent ... very nice very friendly staff and man I have to give it the babe here they really know what they do ... I come twice in the week atleast and had not 1 problem and always smile"

"The food was so in the Canyon Lakes Restaurant Brewery. I went there for her Super Bowl party and I had her Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, which was ok and I had her barbecue chicken wings that were also ok. I ordered a Sangria, but I didn't like it and got a glass of Merlot instead. The staff was very friendly and our server was good. They were late for the Super Bowl party and I thought they had through the time we had there (2 pm). The owner told me about the use of one of the high chairs to keep my wallet and bag, and I told the manager, I didn't like what he said because there are many chairs available. He finally apologized for what he said and I accepted the apology."

"The waitstaff went above and beyond, the food was delicious, but the front of the house was very rude. Apparently they thought they had discontinued open table, so when I initially showed them our reservation they told us they don’t do reservations and gave us a hard time before eventually agreeing to seat us. I understand that they were busy and didn’t expect a party to show up with reservations, but the mix up wasn’t our fault and it wasn’t very professional to direct their frustration at us not a great way to celebrate a birthday. The rest of the experience was amazing, the waitstaff was awesome and the food was really good. Just an unfortunate start."
