"Our server (I cannot remember her name now) was very good! Unfortunately, my husband has a very bad, gluten intolerance and the rice he was served with his lobster dick was definitely not gluten-free. Not sure if the mix of the server or kitchen or what happened. He was sick all the rest of the night so definitely know that it was not gluten-free. We have often dined here and always had good food and this is the first time it happened, but only want someone to be aware of it."

"The service was impeccable. We sat in the bar so the ambience was just what we were looking for with the live music. The cosmopolitans, shrimp and steak were outstanding. The macaroni and cheese was dry and tasted like kraft Parmesan. We’re disappointed they no longer have au gratin potatoes. Overall a pleasant experience and we will return."

"Keith was absolutely amazing! He was very professional and attentive. He guided us through the menu and made great recommendations. The magical dining menu was just okay. The clam chowder was the best appetizer on that menu. The scallop app was yummy and came out piping hot. The desserts were all delicious! Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back after magical dining"

"This is my go to place when celebrating something special. Camille’s never disappoints! Spectacular service and delicious food! It’s always hard to choose! I always start with the fresh oysters, and a garden salad. The greens are also crisp and fresh. This time, I got the rack of lamb amazing! I finished the dish I couldn’t save any to bring home, had to finish it! Be sure to leave room for dessert!"

"We absolutely love coming to this restaurant. The food is consistently incredible, with the crab chowder being the best I've ever had. We took advantage of the three-course Ciao Monday deal and had a fantastic date night. Our waitress was excellent - beautiful and attentive. The drinks were also top-notch, especially the new blood orange drink which is a must-try."

"Just okay. The best part of the meal was the fried shrimp…and while those are great, as a seafood restaurant your best dish should never be your fried dishes, especially just fried shrimp. There seafood chowder was very good. The mahi mahi tacos were decent. The blackened catfish was okay, but the rice and and collard greens were very bland. "*Update, per the response from the restaurant, I called and emailed with my phone number. Zero response. I guess them responding to a negative review is just smoking mirrors to make it seem like they are concerned. My husband and I go here often for drinks and dinner/dessert at the bar. Every year for our Anniversary we go for a special dinner and end the night with a night cap at the bar. Last night we went to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had reservations and noted it was our anniversary. We were sat at the bar right next to the waiters area. We spent the night staring at a pile of dirty dishes and had people from the bar hanging over us. The service was ok, the food mediocre for what you pay. Spent $400 on a night that was supposed to be special but instead was like dinning at any other restaurant that would have cost less than half the price. After dinner my husband asked if I’d like a night cap at the bar. For the first time, I chose to go home."

"We needed to sit outside due to health issues (Covid risk and Malani (sp? was above and beyond accommodating to us we were the only ones on the patio which caused her extra work but she was incredibly kind, and gracious. We are so grateful for this experience. They food and drinks were also wonderful but it was her customer service that will bring us back."

"We sat in a small section with only 3 or 4 tables, but we all had different servers. It didn't make any sense and our seemed roaring bc she ran from the end of the restaurant to another. At one point, she disappeared 10 minutes before we could place the order. Secondly, the place needs a facial lift. Needs updated lighting. Why are there Mobfotos and Frank Sinatra's cups shot on the wall of the seafood restaurant? Some of the antiques are great, but they could be integrated into new decor menu changes. Portions are smaller. I literally have a big piece of broccoli as a side. Awful. Go with page options to reduce costs and give more. My plate looked so sad. The two different choices of Entrees sizes are also stupid. My crab cake has become smaller since the last time. Should be an option. Seafood is always fresh and tasty, but with the rising costs for everything it is simply not worth the money."

"The singer was amazing was the hilite of our evening. I came with 3 friends that have never been to Mastros- we ordered the shucked raw oysters to start I have never been to any restaurant that didn’t cut the oyster from the shell!!! We had to cut it with our knives pick the shells out of our mouths… horrible! It was like eating egg shells. I asked the server if this is normal (as it’s very strange) she said no- that’s not normal she’ll mention it to the chef… nothing was ever done or mentioned again to us. When we got the bill, we waited over 40minutes for anyone to come back to us… we finally waived down another server she started to process our bill. Our server finally came back apologized saying she got stuck downstairs (whatever that means). We ended up being there for almost 4hrs!!!! I’ve been to Mastros several times never had such bad service… sadly my friends won’t likely come back."

"The food we ordered was good (once we got the right order . They don't serve any big meals like a larger diner or restaurant. It's mostly bar food and fries (lots and lots of fries! They served me a meal that wasn't what was ordered or even close. They did eventually make it right but it was a good while after the rest of our group was served and eating. Our server was attentive as well as helpful."

"The service was perfect, though the young man needed a bit more confidence- he was GREAT!!! Everyone was so kind and very upbeat! I'm not one for fancy clothes and expect to be treated like everyone else. I surely was here! I was treated like royalty! The black n bleu swordfish was the best I've ever had and I'm from the beach in California! It was sooooooo good we are still talking about it!!"

"we sat on two other guests. no time offered a server water or asked for drinks for 15-20 minutes until we requested a server. we had two server, the second is better and more attentive than the first. we have eaten here several times, but we found that eating this trip well, but not exceptional for the price. the dessert was as always very good."

"HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Ordered the Jumbo Shrine, the crab was filled. $32 for 3 shrimps that were dry and lack of taste. With one side of broccoli and mash potatoes (the disgusting broccoli not even butter and salt, only steamed simple broccoli and mae potatoes were tasteless and looked like they were sitting in a pot on the stove all day. Waitress was nice and apologise, but never gave a discount or offered to remove meal. The drink was good, but $11 for cocktail was little steep. Has potential with its cool atmosphere on the roof, but they need to rent a new chef and get better managers."

For the price we paid for the dinner you would have thought that there would have been some token of recognizing the event The food was good, but we spent most of the dinner discussing what made this restaurant different enough to justify the for an Fillet Mignon although it was cooked perfectly. "we chose the restaurant because of its location and because we wanted seafood. it was close to our hotel (the hilton) and eating was nothing extraordinary and the prices were not cheap so we expected a little better than we got. the main reason for my low rating was that service was terrible. there were barely tables in the restaurant and yet our server could refill us within 30 minutes after our drinks and our main courses lasted over an hour. They did not seem to have good service/table managment skills as they would serve the table 2 of us, but not even check on us after reviewing on them and was only able to do a thing at a time when they served us. for example, instead of our drink and app order (we knew the app we wanted because it took them over 15 minutes to get for our beverage order) they only got our beverage order and ran away before we voluntarily ask our app. and, instead of even considering that we like to order dinner when we ordered our app to complete it again, so we do not. as our appetizer finally helped about 40 minutes after sitting the food runner and got us another round drinks. our server was simply inconspicuous and not available. she said something about another table in a next room, but when I got up to find them at one point, there were no tables in this room. she just seems to be training. I know it's hard to find good help in these days, but investing in training through the restaurant would help those who find them to work to better serve. as server for many years I know that there are possibilities to make their efforts more efficient. unfortunately our server did not receive this insight. If we were in any kind of hurry, it would have been worse. please train your personal cafe blue!"
