"As locals, we've been meaning to try East on Main for quite some time. It's been a very busy summer and we haven't had a chance until this Friday night and we decided to try the new venue. In spite of a bridal rehearsal dinner party in the back room and a large table for eight people we had excellent service from our waitress Samantha. We started our meal with the mussels in a white wine garlic sauce that we enjoyed. Hubby decided on the honey crisp fried chicken special , it was served with a corn bread stuffing, and a side fresh string beans, the chicken was crispy, moist and extremely good. I ordered the shrimp and scallops with mushrooms, tomato and a white wine sauce, it was served piping hot and very flavorful. At the end of the meal we were very satisfied and knew we would be coming back. We are happy to find a new local place that offers fresh food and a casual but lovely atmosphere.
