"I’m very picky with my pizza. As a truck driver from Jersey I stopped here on my way home so I wouldn’t be hangry in traffic for an hour and a half. What I found was exactly what I’ve been searching for in the NY pizza scene…. The perfect slice! The flavor, texture and crunch are unlike many Pizzaria slices in NY. "My girlfriend and I literally just returned from a wonderful trip to Tuscany. While there we visited a gorgeous vineyard called ‘Vecchie Terre di Montefili’ in Greve, Chianti. We tasted Several outstanding Chianti wines and purchased several bottles to take home. During our stay we were introduced To the winemaker Who told us that they run to restaurants right in our backyard; ‘I Trulli’ and ‘Ristoro Del Cinghiale’, Right in our backyard in the Flatiron district. Since we had such an amazing experience at the Vineyard, I thought it would be great to continue our Tuscan vacation back home in New York City. What a treat! Both restaurants are literally side-by-side to one another and worth the trip! The food was outstanding, with the pasta being freshly made in house And the wine directly from their vineyard in Chianti. Being that I had had my fill of pasta personally, I tried the Chicken under brick, which was incredibly succulent and delightfully seasoned and cooked in their brick oven. My girlfriend had the pasta Bolognese which was a delight as well. This is a fantastic spot for a date night if not for every day dining. Do yourself a favor and go!"

"As usual the food was very good but we had an incident where a bus boy spilled the buttered oil from the baked clams on myself and my brother-in-law. The bus boy offered to pay for our dry cleaning but disappeared after we got the bill. Which we felt the manager or waiter should have taken the clams off the bill or offered an after dinner drink but nothing! Disappointing at best since we have had dinner there on at least 5 occasions with large groups. Even though the offer to pay for the damage to our shirts the waiter never returned after we paid the bill to follow up on this payment!"

"Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with a group of 6. Dining room was pretty busy and we had a short wait for a table. I understand the difficulty with hiring and keeping reliable staff, so we were patient. The server took our order for drinks and then came back for our food order. The food almost beat our drink order to the table. Based on the quality and quantity of food, it more than made up for the slower drink orders. 2 people ordered grits and said they were the best they have ever had. The Miltons wings were nice and hot and crispy. The french dip was huge and delicious. The brisket sandwich had so much brisket in it that it became an open face sandwich. The jerk chicken mac and cheese never disappoints. Exceptional food. Hope you have luck finding more staff. We will return again."

"Dined here with friends for the first time. Seated us promptly. Shared a stuffed clams appetizer which was very tasty. Our entrees ranged from swordfish, chicken, steak and pasta. Everyone was pleased with their selections. The food was fresh and presented well, accompanied by a house salad. We shared a tartufo, cannoli, and tiramisu for dessert. The owner gave us complimentary after dinner drinks. A nice way to end our dinner."
