We used to be at Angels Envy in Louisville, where a bottle is $55. The server came back to let me know that an old fashion with Angels Envy is $50. It looks a little weird. How bout Buffalo Trace? "My husband and I recently celebrated my birthday dinner at Bleu. We had Crispy Calamari and Fried Brussel Sprouts tapas appetizers and a bottle of wine. Dinner for me was the Lump Crab Shrimp Cakes, he had the Grilled Mahi Mahi. Everything was delicious and the service is wonderful from the front door to the bar and wait staff. And to the heart of all fine dining...the kitchen. Cudos to the chefs. I highly recommend."

"Came here last Thursday for dinner and was seated in the bar area which surprisingly was empty—majority of the guests sat outside since the weather wasn’t too cold. It’s super cute outside with all the light decor! Highly recommend the Signature House-Smoked Prime Rib—a 12 oz. was the perfect size for me—it was well flavored and tender. The Au Jus sauce is the perfect touch to make it overall delicious. The Cowboy Corn side is good too. For cocktails, try the Cucumber Crush! Our server AJ was great!"

"I have been to other Firebirds locations frequently in the past however this was our first time at this location. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with multiple other businesses. I found parking in the area but had to walk a little. I made reservations prior to dinner and we were seated when we arrived. Our server was nice and brought us complimentary bread and the drinks that we ordered. For my dinner I ordered the salmon and got mashed potatoes and asparagus with it. The potatoes were good but the portion size did not match the amount of salmon that was provided. The salmon was too salty and the deviled eggs were not good. The egg combination wasn't flavorful and the ingredients did not mesh well together. I would not order them again. Overall the taste of the food lacked at this location."

"We were looking for a place for lunch and decided to give Firebirds an attempt. We sat fast and Rose, our server, was right there to help us. Rose was very personal and made a fantastic job during our meal! Fresh bread was brought out, and while I'm not sure what it was, it was warmed and delicious. My husband and I ordered the Bacon Deviled Eggs as an appetizer. They tasted very fresh and creamy. The candied bacon and cut jalapeños made a beautiful sweet and spicy combo. I chose the perfect pair with the Firebirds Chicken Pasta and loaded baked potatoes. The chicken was nicely grilled, and the spicy Asiango added a nice kick. The potato was crumbling salt with the perfect amount of toppings, and not boiled under. My husband had the Cajun Ribeye, Chicken Tortilla soup, and loaded baked potato. Steak was cooked for perfection. It was possible to cut it with a fork and did not need the addition of the approxjun seasoned butter, although this was also delicious. The soup was nice and hot, with many creamy cheerful spoons. The tortilla strips gave him a nice crunch, and they weren't so tender. His potato was also well cooked. After we had such a good meal, we decided to leave everything and have the cream Brulee Cheesecake and 5 Layer Lemon Cake. That was a perfect end for our meal! The cheesecake had the nice crusty crust, and it just melts in the mouth. The taste was not excessively sweet, which can be the disadvantage of some cheesecakes. The lemon cake was also a delicious treat. It can be hard to disguise a lemon cake, between tart and too sweet, but this cake was on... my husband almost wouldn't share lol! I know good employees can find hard this day and age, but our experience with Firebirds was excellent! All staff were friendly, the food was well prepared, and it was a very pleasant meal for us! We will definitely try some of the other delicious sounding dishes on the menu again!"

"What a unique experience. This restaurant might be small but it packs a punch. My first time experiencing a Dim Sum kind of restaurant. You can order off the menu or you can just select dishes that are presented to your table, it is like the sushi boat. So neat to see the food before selecting it. The service was excellent, very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was delicious. The ones that stood out was the nectarines with cheese and basil oil- this simple fish had complex flavors that wowed the plat and was hands down my favorite. The heirloom toast, duck moose, chard octopus, and salmon tartar are all must haves. Can't wait to come back and try new things!"

"I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere here! Everything was delicious and the waitress was so amazing. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. You guys really have amazing staff here. My partner got the Durango burger which was delicious with fries, I got the garlic sirloin steak with a loaded baked potato and I loved it. We shared a crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert. He also enjoyed your signature pineapple martinis! I had a pineapple drink as well, something off the mock tail menu. Which was delicious! Thanks for the great night out. We also shared Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls which were to die for! Little spicy but I loved them! I do have to add though, I only have two complaints. The pineapple agua Fresca drink was a bit too lime forward for me. It was really sour. I enjoyed it regardless but it says on the menu that it’s blended with charred pineapple and I was expecting to get more of that flavor. But like I said I enjoyed it regardless. My main complaint though is that I believe Firebirds needs to try to make their booths a little larger. Or at least make it so the table can move. My partner and I are on the bigger side and so the table was jabbing us in the ribs the entire time. I didn’t want to be bothersome so I didn’t ask for another table but it was uncomfortable. The table was bolted to the wall so it didn’t move. If it had moved I would’ve felt better. Regardless I enjoyed my experience and I’ll definitely be back again. Next time I’ll sit at a table!"

"I had a reservation set for 6:15. I arrived a 6:10 to check in. I realized that the families that were already there were seated and then they started calling ppl that came in after me. I went to the front desk and was told that there were no booths available but quite sure the family sat at a booth. It was about 6:45-50 and I just decided to sit at the bar which I really did not want to do. I ordered the wings, they were somewhat dry. My salmon salad was good and my server behind the bar was pretty good as well."

"Went because it was “National Filet Mignon” day and had the 7 oz filet. It was cooked a perfect medium rare that I ordered with a delicious smoke grilled flavor. Have been here several times, always torn between the salmon and the steak but you really can’t go wrong with either one. Haven’t had a bad meal yet. "Firebirds was the location of the first date with my current partner and we just celebrated our 4 year anniversary! So for our anniversary we went back to Firebirds and the food and drinks were delicious, but the best part was the staff. Our waitress was super nice and when she heard it was our anniversary, she brought us a card signed by most of the staff to wish us a Happy Anniversary as well as a vase of flowers (to take home) and a small dessert for us to split. It was the sweetest thing and we appreciated it so much. We decided to make Firebirds our official go to restaurant for our anniversary. Always a wonderful experience!"
