"I’ve been going to Edge for the last few years and hadn’t been back since they did what I assumed to be a mini-rebrand. Well, it’s pretty much the same restaurant with 70% the same menu but the prices are all much higher. I usually don’t really mind paying for a good dinner but this is now flat out overpriced. It’s good food but not great and they’re just gouging at this point. 30 for a glass of Flowers Pinot Noir. I’ve been to Flowers in CA. It’s nice. That wine is not 30/glass wine. Really disappointed that a place I used to frequent will now shift to infrequent, if ever again."

"I'm kind of heartbroken. Normally I would give this place at least 4 stars. I'm only giving 2 stars because the service is good. It's a little restaurant my husband and I loved going to somewhat often, but this last time we went we noticed the prices have gone up MAJORLY. I used to love getting the steak salad. I believe it was around 20, now it's over 30.. for a salad lol The salmon dish I use to get (which was very mediocre the last 2 times I ordered it) was around 30, has now gone up to almost 45 dollars. It's so upsetting. I really loved the atmosphere and the service but the food and some of the portion sizes (like the ravioli dishes) are just NOT worth the prices now. We won't be going back unless they lower the prices again and I don't see that happening so I guess they lost some regular guests and we lost our spot we loved. The hardest part is my husband asked me where I wanted to go for our 10 year anniversary dinner coming up in August and the only place up here I wanted to go with him is Peppercorn, but not now."

"Really wanted to like this place. The ambiance was great, and the service was incredible, but 3 out of 4 of us got sick. I was the only one who didn't eat the scallops and had a good steak. Hubby's rib eye was tough, the lasagna was bland and tasted funny, the chicken marsala had a sweet sauce instead of savory and my baked potato wasn't cooked all the way. The highlight was the bruschetta. but after all that and paying $300, it wasn't enough to garner a good review. Peppercorn mgmt needs to get rid of those scallops!"

"The place was off the beaten path. Service was very good they explain some of the items which we inquired it. Place was sort of soft wasn't quite as loud as other places. The appetizers calamari was grilled with tomatoes spinach white beans and a wonderful source with it the other appetizer was shrimp on a skewer and that was terrific. Two main courses one was pork thin sliced with a very nice source with that. And the penny with the Regatta the sausage and the source was just delightful all in all it was a wonderful experience I recommend it."

"on Monday night, not super busy. the service was good as the brot. I thought the chicken parm would be quite good, but honestly this was just eating ok. my brokkoli and kartoffels were room temperature, the tortellini of my dame were a little overcooked and mushy we tried the pesto gnocchi of my grandmother and they were delicious, but they said they tasted like lead water we really need this place"

"Love the Pizza California Style!! You have a good stuff!! The location is great, just a few minutes walk from Seagrove Park, for stunning views of the beach and of course the San Diego Sunsets. The staff was very friendly and open to give recommendations. The pizza was delicious, so delicious! I seriously think this is the best pizza in Del Mar area!!"

"Went for Mother’s Day. Staff was welcoming and wait staff attentive. However, the food was marginal. Two of us ordered the Cobb salad. One came out with the promised ingredients. The other came out minus the chicken, which was corrected when pointed out , but really Salads were standard and uninteresting for $18.00. The hamburger and fries were ordinary. The wines were also mediocre. The patio is lovely and a drink there would be all I would return for. Noise level was deafening. Not worth the price. Rent there must be a fortune, but the food must justify the price."

"Exceptional wonderful experience. We had an amazing thanksgiving here . Gwen was so kind to take care of us on this special day . We were greeted right away and our drink drink order was taken. Served cold and taste to order amazing . We ordered the meatball appetizer that came out quickly and delicious. Ordered the Turkey special and Rock shrimp risotto. Can’t say enough good things about these dishes . Dessert arrived the cannoli filled donuts and apple crumb tart . Bam the donuts are always an experience . Though the apple tart was tasty was a little dry , could’ve been accompanied by some ice cream to moisten it . Over all a will visit again !!! Thank you Gwen !!!"

Our waiter did a good job under the circumstances, (He was the only server on the floor in a dining room that at times had 8-10 tables) not to mention he was sporting the best Jack Sparrow costume ever! The sad component here is that: there was a bus boy/support person that had no direction or enthusiasm, no evidence of any other support, while the kitchen was doing a great job of cranking out food, usually destined to sit under the lights awaiting delivery to the diners ."

"Legendary Studio City restaurant. An old friend of mine always told me about how much he loved it there. Since he has passed and I was in town I had to go. Linguine and Clams in white sauce amazing, the Carbonara outstanding, our friends had the Halibut Lasagna and they loved it. Everything about our meal was delicious. Service was impeccable. We loved it and highly recommend. Pricing was in line with a classic Italian restaurant and they even had valet. Tiramisu was delicious, and they have one of the top 3 cannolis in the country. Thank you for the birthday desserts. Can't wait to be back."

"the mush are always worth the trip. but the inflated pricing is a bit above the top. the food was delicious and the server was great. they ran out of the special desert offered for the evening and gave us the opportunity to pay for another from the regular desert menu. we will be back for drinks and mushes, but I doubt that I will make dinner again when south florida has so many good restaurants."
