"Fantastic foood!!! Best restaurant week meal everrrr!! I truly enjoy this place although having to wait almost an hour before our reservation time to come in. I think it is close on Monday and Tuesday? It was mostly crowded probably because the food is SUPERB! We started with escargot (snails in butter and herb), and pate on bread and some side berries/fig/cream combination. Overall exciting stuff especially the combination. Main dish was: The roasted duck leg on cherry tomatoes is a must try! It combines the crunchy duck skin and well seasoned meat with sweet plum sauce and fresh tomatoes with a touch of bittle arugula. The other main dish we order was rabbit mustard with tagliatelle which is also very good but not as extraordinary as the duck. The special side dish that day was mac and cheese made with Comte cheese, also divine! Very ooey gooey and has a great smell. The desserts are okish given they sold our their signature creme brulee, but we got the caramelized puff pastry and cognac infuses berries and cheese which are all new tastes to our palate. Overall, very worth it. Spent around $60/person (tax tip included). Check them out!"

"beautiful ambiente and very good eating. it is a little pricy for what it offers. no child-friendly restaurant at all. we have constantly complained about the sound of our child. steak was very good, but it could have a little more taste with the whole show of flambè the knochenstreak. is not the strong part of the menu. worth the attempt and would come back to eat there"

"This is the second time we've come. The tuna tartare was fresh andbwell plated. The carbonara is rich and very interesting, while the spicy lamb burger is also delicious and quite filling. The dill sauce was a great condiment on the burger. The chocolate mousse is some of the best in the city. Prices are reasonable for portions and quality. Constructive criticism: Service could have been improved; our waiter was fine at first, but quickly forgot about us. I had to wave my arms enthusiastically multiple times to get his attention after our entree was served. After that point he was very gruff with us, as if he saw his tip as a lost cause afterwards. I overheard another woman sat nearby complaining about the slow service as well. We also wish they had the steak tartare, which is one of their signature dishes. It also would be a good idea for the management to update the little menu cards on the table that claim you can get a free dessert by downloading an app and posting about them on Instagram. Our waiter gruffly informed us that it's only one dessert per table, which is not in the fine print. That probably would have been a totally fine revelation, if he had been nicer about the clarification."

"I went on Christmas Eve it was totally rushed by the restaurant .I made an reservation and they should not be taking reservations at that time. Management made me feel like I was at a McDonald’s hurry up hurry up hurry up . Ordered second glass of wine and got a quarter pour. Love this place but Christmas Eve was not good"

"My friends and I are passing so often and one day decided to come for late night drinks and food as they are open until 2:00. The interior design fits so well to the ambience and offers a stylish yet relaxed lounge dining experience. The food is exceptional and the drinks are even better. I almost always command a Manhattan on the rocks in new restaurants I visit, and by far the bartender has killed him since he is now one of the best I had. You can taste how good they are mixed and made, at least according to my personal preference. The food was quite delicious for coming at 11:00. Today's daily dish was lamb with Harissa and roasted chickpeas. The taste of the lamb was not too playful and the accentuating sauce added this taste so well. The Harissa tasted like a raised take on potatoes and the roasted chickpeas helped the dish some texture. Overall, I was very happy with my meal and experience. I will definitely visit Eastern Standard again."

"By far one of my favorite restaurants in Fairfield county. Last night they were a little behind in seating us, so to thank us for waiting and being so patient they got us an app on the house. "This place is not at all worth it unless you’re only getting drinks/appetizers. The servers were nice but inattentive, the entrees were poorly presented, over priced, and offered only simple flavors. The “mixed grill” entree was hilariously overhyped and under-portioned, especially as the most expensive entree on the menu. You would find more flavorful lamb/rice at the halal cart up the street. The sardine appetizer was very good, but for such a popular spot I was expecting much more developed flavors, better presentation, and a waitstaff who cared."

"Been eating at Marche for over 25 years and usually it is excellent, however, recently we have had 3 bad or subpar experiences there. First was a $125 bottle of champagne we ordered. Served with no ice bucket to keep it cold and the waitress kept pouring it like beer constantly filling our glasses to the brim so the champagne would get warm in the glass. Second, today the eggs Benedict was served ICE COLD. And the replacement was hardly any warmer, we were really hungry by that time so just settled for cold food. Third to top it off the server never asked if we wanted coffee or even offered us a dessert menu after the meal. I realize staffing is a real challenge these days but from what I'm seeing Marche is slipping and for the price you pay to dine there this just shouldn't be happening. I have hope that things will improve."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant with authentic French dishes. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable about their menu. The cocktails were outstanding. I will definitely be returning for lunch to try their merguez sandwich."
