"it's bare we thought they'll have good cocktails! I order a dirty martini with vodka.. she comes back “Berry from olive juice”! Watch it, it is Saturday night! 25 minutes in we don't have our appetizer yet! “Yes, I’m going after.” manager comes apologise that they order for popular cocktails in bulk, but martini is a fairly standard drink, right? how did they not have olives at the bar? apologise, he says the good will come - big! app comes/we take 2 bites and find a series of hairs! free eating or not, I could not sit there anymore! we're gone!"

"We were treated as amazing by the employees. The waiter was great. He stopped with our party of 22 ppl with food and bar orders. He had a great personality and made our night so pleasant. Brie greeted us and had a contagious positive attitude. We all had a great time. The food was good and there was no lack of it. Drinks were good. Bowling Arkaden kept us entertained. So if u over a party and some fun for your adult friends definitely consider kings and request Collin."

"Called day before and asked for a reservation. They said they don't make reservations before the time, but they are efficient to not worry. Thank God our friend went on Saturday 2-3 hours before and in our name. I was there at 8:00 and the Lane was not ready yet. It was 45 minutes waiting. Finally, our track and not even get through 2 games bowling with 5 bowlers before our time ran. It was $24 per person to bowl. I asked for an extension to finish our 2nd game and was told no because there was a waiting list. They also ran out of beer and the bathrooms were dirty without toilet paper. Skip this place. There are other places to bowls that are much cheaper and also funny. This place is overpriced, NOT EFFICIENT as they claim, and not worth the effort. Edit: Manager got me an email and apologized for the problems I described. Hopefully the next experience will be better."

"Our group of 7 did a Dine and Bowl on a Tuesday during lunch time. There were 2 other groups (one of 6; one of 3) of people eating when we were there. Neither of those groups bowled post-lunch. We arrived at 12:10 for our 12:15 PM reservation and found no one working at the front. At 12:15, someone coming from the back finally came to the front. He did not greet us or ask if we had a reservation, I had to say that we made one online. He walked around and found a table that had reserved sign on it and said I think this is it. We sat from 12:15-1:15 before our food was brought out. We had to ask for refills, we weren 't offered them. The server was not attentive or seemed like he wanted to be there. I observed 6-8 people that worked there, but only interacted with our server and someone who set up the bowling room for us. Once our group was done, we got settled into the bowling room, which was a nice set up. And we appreciated being able to keep our drinks and order anything else if we liked. Our group didn 't order dessert but we did ask for refills. We started to bowl and one of the lanes broke within the first frame. We had to search to find someone to fix it. And after it was apparently fixed, we were not informed. So, we sat until someone asked if it was working okay. Overall, the environment was nice and we wanted to like it, but the service for a mid-day Tuesday was horrific. I would hate to see the service when it is busy. If you are set up to take reservations, it seems that we would have been treated a little better than what we got for what we paid."

"The customer service experience was something that strongly impacted our review. Reasons why below: The wait staff were extremely rude and unapproachable. We were initially sat at a table designated for four people max in the middle of the bar area; reservation was made for 7 people. When we asked to move to a more accommodating table they informed us that booths need to be specifically reserved. I spoke on the phone with someone from Kings twice before arriving and there were no mention of specific areas that we need to reserve. They seem irritated and reluctant with our request to move to a table to fit our entire party. Our direct waiter/waitress was unpleasant and seemed irritated with orders that we gave. We had dirty dishes and empty glasses sit at our table for over an hour, without being asked for refills. A lot of money on additional drinks was missed for the lack of service. Waited 4+ hours for a lane to open up for us, with the reservation. We understood the demand for the lanes, but the lack of communication and service was very detrimental to our experience. We were informed when we finally got a lane that we would have someone come over and serve us and not to approach the bar. We waited 20 minutes without any service and had to approach a manager who was walking by that we were still waiting on a server (After we talked to two separate servers about coming over to our lane). We typically are easy going and are very understanding of situations out of the servers control, however a lot of these frustrations could have been avoidable. We spent a lot of money and time to have such a negative experience. With that being said, we were very disappointed with the entire experience at Kings. Unfortunately, we will not be returning or recommending to friends."

"Not the best experience. We’ve been here twice and there was always something wrong with our lane. We waited for too long for it to be fixed and just got annoyed by waiting while everyone else was bowling normally. We asked for refund because it was totally unfair and of course we got it only for shoes (not surprised at all). It would be okay if they just gave us other lane which they didn’t but instead their attitude about situation was a problem. Not sure if we’ll be coming back here. Additionally, I know it’s hard to work in hospitality but if you don’t know how to do it or you’re just too lazy to put a smile on your face and handle any situation professionally, then don’t do it."

"We were there for my daughters birthday party and everything would have been perfect and a 5 star if it wasn't for the first impression. The hostess was not welcoming especially knowing we were there for a planned event. The lanes did not have the birthday girls name on the screen so there was nothing to show that it was her special day. Some other mishaps occured but I have to say that the manager and Nicole our waitress took responsibility and then were extremely diligent and professional to take care of everything and even go above and beyond to make things right. That was the icing on the cake because once we got settled, girls were playing and feed everything else ran super smooth and it was a great time for all. So thank you for everything, I would just suggest working on the first impression! I will certainly recommend others to book their next party at Kings in Dedham!"
