"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favorite."

"I have had many a memorable meal here, so when friends were coming into town and staying near, I thought that this would be a great place. I had not been to Pound Pence in a number of years. While the ambiance was nice enough (although the music was a little loud when we first arrived , the food wasn't spectacular. The the tuna nicoise that I had was overcooked (not my requested medium rare, but, rather, medium and a little tough and overdressed. (Note to self: Ask for the dressing to be on the side. I did not ask about my friends' meals, although they didn't say anything about it either way."

"Great. One of our favorite places. I've probably gedminated 100 times here and every time it's great. Here's the key to the price, I don't think you'll find a better VALUE. Salads are like $12 and are HUGE. Bands are great and really big. OYSTERS are as good as in the hall. And I'm serious. I eat a ton of them. Check the wine prices. They're not that bad. 2x the liqueur is good in my book. try to find it in the other places of the city (not to name). Anyway, that's great. "I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo (side of basmati rice) and Samosa. Delicious! We ordered through GH , food arrived in a timely manner and hot. I will definitely be ordering from them again. We also ordered the Rice Pudding (home made) and although I haven’t tried it yet, it looks amazing. Hubby ordered the Gyro and said; “softest gyro meat ever!”"

"We order from here all the time and always have great food. Ordered a steak with the amazing homemade steak sauce. That is my favorite part of the dish. Well, they forgot to throw it in the takeout.
