Consistent great barbecue a mix of Texas and Kansas City. Had the large brisket bone short rib (huge) and couldn't get enough. My wife doesn't like barbecue so she had food from the Bistro side of the menu. Great Catfish with grilled vegetables. Casual dining taken to a whole new level. Also, super wine list for this type of restaurant.

Went to Boneyard Bistro with friends because they wanted barbecue and I don't eat meat but the menu had lots of choices for me. My husband and friends ordered a combo meal for 4 that came with all of the different BBQ meats/pork and lots of sides. I ordered the trout. The food came luckily split! I couldn't believe how fast it came. Their feisty looked incredible and judging by what was left, it was delicious. My trout was just OK. This is a nice looking bistro, small, however charming. Limited tables inside and outside sitting available as well. My first meal there was not bad. We happened to come in on a Tuesday and it was ‘half-off of their bottles of wine. We definitely took advantage of that, I couldn’t remember which wine we had, and they did have a nice selection. One thing , I can’t remember if bistros have plasma screens, well this one did, which helped with my ex B’s attention span. "We went on Saturday 09/23 for our 20 year anniversary dinner. What a mistake this was. The waiter told us he had 24 years of experience at the restaurant. I dreaded him from the moment we sat down. We wanted a nice bottle of red asked if the restaurant had a Somali as he was giving us attitude zero knowledge of wine. Not long after we placed our order appetisers and main. He asked if we wanted the chocolate soufflé. Our 12 yr old is a chocolate addict so we knew this would take at least 20-30 minutes so we placed the order early on. After serving wine I asked if get had any special drinks for kids. He said nothing apart from sodas or lemonade then he said Shirley temple. My son who is ultra healthy drinks sparking water with lime asked what was a Shirley temple l. The waiter responded don't you know? Moving on onto ordering for me as I am a foodie I asked it's a toss up between the swordfish/John dory. Well jerk I was not asking what John Dory is I asked about how the two dishes lineup. Anyhow I ended up telling him we do not see eye to eye and basically I don't like his attitude. Towards the end the soufflé came and after our mains we had intentions of ordering other desserts but because he did not check I was done. On our way out I told the bald guy who I have now learnt is the owner was ultra dismissive. I don't know how anyone who is a foodie thinks this is an ok restaurant let alone mediocre. If you are a foodie you know service and quality lacking in both areas. The WAITER told us he had 24 years experience. He can stick his 24 years where it belongs."

"Phenomenal Italian food! They have a gluten-free menu that you do have to ask for but has a large selection! My girlfriend, who has a bad allergy to gluten, had the best time there with me! We shared a gluten-free spinach and artichoke dip with their bread, and I have never had gluten-free bread that good and soft! The dip was very good too. My girlfriend had the gluten-free chicken carbonara and it was exceptionally good! They make it with a chickpea breading. I had their regular gnocchi and it was super soft and the spices added were very flavorful!"

"Went in and ordered for Take-out. Not one thing missing, and everything that was ordered was just as requested. Definitely recommend the strawberry shortcake!! it was PERFECT!! . . . "I walked into this place and I was taken aback. Guess what, as soon as I walk in, two of the waitresses asked me if I was there for a pick up meaning like Uber Eats, Postmates or something like that, I kept wondering how that can be the first thing you ask someone when they come to dine at your restaurant, how unpleasant, how belittling!!! I remembered, oh, I am BLACK . Did they think I could not afford the place? I can never tell, but well, I got so angry but kept my cool and just walked out calmly, but promised to share my experience . This place is racist. Please learn some manners and better customer service. Don't judge guests by color. I can never dine here."
