"Possibly a bit off the beaten track but absolutely worth a detour! We had supper here and pre-ordered the Oldenburg duck for two. It was absolutely delicious, and served in two courses with a delicious green apple sorbet in between. Amuses bouches, starters and desserts...were outstanding, too. As it was my birthday, one of the apprentice waitresses arranged for a fresh and warm little cake straight from the oven to be delivered to the table. What a joyous surprise. Thank you! Service was exceptional! Utterly professional and friendly. A delightfully unpretentious atmosphere with truly amazing food. Highly recommended."

Very nice ambiance , exelent food and good service, The menu is interesting as it has many local specialities that you don't find very offten and all well cooked and seved .

my three English friends and I enjoyed every moment and every ingredient of this extraordinary culinary experience. sascha stemberg and his team are very easy first class, charming, friendly, attentive and professional. sascha has not only treated us with his delicious creations, but he has described them to us in English. memorable!

haus stemberg surpassed my expectations far. I must admit that I came up with a prejudice that German skin kitchens would not measure, but I could not have been wrong. haus stemberg completely delivered. we went to the tasting menu and each cure was great. the. the 2012 spatburgunder red wine dry was particularly impressive as a result of a delicious lamb dish (I have made a photo of the bottle) the service was immaculate. an unforgettable evening.
