"I made reservations for 6 for my mother in laws birthday dinner . The hostess greeted us, and took us to our table right away . All tables have white cloth covers I even seen a young man, Ironing one of them with a cordless iron. I have to say this is definitely fine dining . This restaurant is considered French /American . As soon as you walk in, there's is also a nice bar area on your left side . The ambiance is romantic and elegant. Our waiter was okay but, a young man name Nick was brining the plates and anything we needed he was helping the waiter I believe a busboy ? But he was more then that !! First time trying this restaurant and they did not disappoint! Service was top notch, at least the server we got was amazing! Took care of all our needs . Food was just perfect, so many good flavors ! Definitely recommend this for a perfect date night!

Had another amazing dinner at Hawks tonight. The service was as amazing as ever. The menu was brand new but absolutely delicious. My first course consisted of broccoli cheddar soup and it was simply excellent. For the second course I had truffle pasta and my husband had fillet mignon-both dishes were very well prepared and delicious. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough-definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Granite Bay area.

The food was very good. Good service. Kind of a special occasion kind of place for us. Maybe slightly stuffy in the atmosphere. One gripe, and this is common for this area, that even though we were in the dining area and not the bar, the number of TV 's in the bar was distracting. What is with folks in this area that they need to have a freakin ' television on while they 're eating dinner?!! That definitely diminished an otherwise very nice experience. All of that said, we would go back.
