"We found this local restaurant while staying at the Courtyard near Schoenbrunn. It was within 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel and offered good, homely food. The place itself looks like your typical pub from the outside. Inside, it is dividend into the bar / smoking area and a closed dining (non-smoking) room. The service was very good, we felt very welcome from the minute we walked in. The menu is all in German however they also have a smaller one with the main menu items, or recommendations,in English. Considering the reviews, I was expecting to eat great food. In the end, it was an average food which we eat thousands times in daily lives.

The decor is out-to-date, but the waiter is funny and knows how to please to kids (noooooo he gave them a crocodile -play of the 80's). The lunch is very good, there is no fashion frills seen in all restaurants now. All is stayed in...80's, and that' s cool.

We went there after a visit at Schönbrunn. It was time for lunch. The place looks like a local pub, not too attractive, but as we have read nice comments on TripAdvisor we gave it a try. We ordered wienerschnitzel and beer. When the food came I was really worried, that it will be a dry and boring meal, but it was great! Juicy meat. Great sallad!
