"the worst place I have eaten throughout my hawaii trip. super expensive for quality and service offered. we got dry and black burned ribs for 45 and chicken curry for 35 with huge piece of kartoffels (only cut in half) and huh. my grandmother had a farm and the pieces she served her dick were smaller. our bill was 80 no drinks, no starter, no desert. if they want to eat well in this region, it is the fish and the hog."

"I had such a wonderful meal here for my cousin's birthday! Everything was amazing. The host is very gracious and welcoming for all those who put the door to the tone. Drinks were phenomenal. I had a Merriman's Mai Tai. It was similar to the classic trader Vic recipe. And it was so good. It was added with Lilikoi foam that so much taste! The food itself was top notch. I knew it was good. But it was better than I had imagined. The quality of my NY Steak was great. The cut, the ruble, and it was perfectly cooked. I can't wait to go back!"

"We stopped at the Brewhaus for dinner on a Sunday evening. Based on other reviews, I asked about getting a burrito with tofu. The waitresses response was You won 't get any tofu here . They were out of guacamole so the options seemed more limited. I ordered the black bean and rice burrito, hold the cheese. The burrito comes with a dish they call won bok slaw . I asked if the slaw was vegan and the waitress said she believed it was but would mark the order as vegan and check with the chef as he was very knowledgeable about vegan food. She never got back to me. A different waitress delivered the food, I again asked if the slaw was vegan. She said that it contained no meat. I asked if it contained any dairy or mayo. Her response No, it 's vegan, it 's a honey mustard dressing. (clearly not vegan). Some of the people in our group ordered food that should have included guacamole. There was no compensation offered (we ordered chips and salsa which could have been offered in leu of the guacamole or they could have reduced the amount they charged us). Speaking of the chips, they were not very tasty. They were slightly burned and had no salt. I had to flag down a waitress to get salt. I really wanted to like this place. The food we got was pretty good but it sounds like the options for vegans have diminished over time. The wait staff was not very accommodating. No one came by to check if we needed anything or if we wanted refills on our water."

"When my husband heard about this breakfast place, I couldn't negotiate. Things to know: It's just cash and there's an ATM inside Expect a Wait. It is better on weekdays, but even with no one before us we waited for 30 minutes (the waiter app said less than 5) There are no outside seats, unlike what a photo leads me to believe. I am shocked how few places in Hawaii have seats. Between my husband, my mother and me we have tried: Since Big Mok (Loco Moco) Haupia pancake Kalua hash and eggs with Fried Rice Punalu'u Sweet Bread French Toast (extended page selection for Kalua hash) Macaroni Salat POG Juice My favorite thing was the French toast, followed by Loco Moco. Both were very good. I'm not a big pancake, but the Haupia pancakes were pretty good. There were tuna in the Makkaroni salad I'm not a fan of. The Kalua hash was the worst we have. I didn't taste a pig at all. It tasted like houseries. Everyone talks about how big the parts are, but I didn't find them that big. The pancakes are huge, but unlike that, most things were about the size I would expect. If you love breakfast, this is a good place to check."

"If you are looking for a damn good NY-style pizza not further than James Angelo?s underground pizza. Good, quick and friendly. Compared to what you would pay for Mediocre food, this AMAZING pizza was a STEAL. The crust is perfection, no utensils required. Perfectly thin and crispy on the bottom beautiful and chew with the dough bubbles around the sides. The sauce is fresh and cesty like a tomato from the garden. I'm very picky about cheese and cheese really good. The topping size/distribution was like an artwork. FYI: BYOB Cash only, but there is a store next door for deliveries and cash."
