"I wish I could say we didn’t eat here. We visited thinking it was a pub, given the name "Towns End Tavern," and we intended to conclude our day of travel with a drink. We soon discovered, though, that it is actually a restaurant that offers only a limited selection of specialty drinks with very little alcohol. If we hadn’t already eaten somewhere else, we definitely would have considered dining here, as the food looked delicious and the restaurant had a lovely ambiance."

"We absolutely loved this place! The service was amazing with our server being sweet, generous, and incredibly efficient.To say that portions are HUGE would be an understatement. Our double burgers and fries really hit the spot after a long afternoon of driving. It has been quite awhile since we've had such a delicious burger of this size and quality!Everything we tried was fresh and expertly cooked to perfection and we sincerely believe this may just be the BEST BURGER IN KANSAS! The menu is very affordable and the service, food, and environment doesn't disappoint. We can't recommend this establishment enough and can't wait to return!!!"

"We stopped at the tank and discovered that the fuel gauge on our truck was broken. We were towing a 26 ft. auto-hauler with a car in it, and fortunately, it felt like divine intervention was at play! Behind the tank, there’s a welding station that quickly fixed our hitch. Nearby, there’s the Oak Tree Inn before reaching the welding shop, and Pennys Diner right next to the inn. It really seemed like everything fell into place just when we needed it. After a few days without a good bed or a decent meal, we were relieved. We transport cars across the country, so we really appreciated the help we received. The staff at the diner were fantastic, and the kitchen served excellent food. The ruby cake was absolutely delicious—I wish I could have more! Thank you all, and may you be blessed!"
