"I step into what are basically Italian American restaurants because there are so many just plain bad ones. Bad is the norm. I am happy to report Andy's doesn't fall into this category. We had a pretty darned good meal. It was just me a and my wife. We had the cheese and meat appetizer. It was mixture of provolone slices deli like, ok but nothing special), some really good aged Parmesan not sure if it was true parm but is aged , dry and sharp. I recently used Andy's Italian Kitchen in Simsbury, CT to deliver party pizzas to the inn down the street for an after party for a wedding. The pizza was fantastic. We have also had many other food items and all were delicious. The staff is so accommodating and are easy to work with for any catering needs thank you, Laura. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend them for lunch, dinner and especially for any catering needs.

The eggplant rollatini in a rich marinara sauce was delish, and a coupled with an included dinner salad and fresh focaccia bread completed the meal. Andy's special pasta, sausage spinach signature dish in vodka sauce for my husband while sharing a bottle of reasonably priced Italian Montepulciano wine equals a great date night! We rounded off the meal with a decaffeinated cappuccino homemade cannoli. The atmosphere is clean, homey casual with a modern farmhouse flair. The booth spacing lends to a more private experience (we sat by the front window) A true gem in Simsbury easily accessible from Avon, Granby or West Hartford. Check out this family business. Good service with a pleasant server....
